Is it just me that cried when shane was officially known to be dead? I loved his character sfm it broke my heart when shane was officially gone 3

This book was a DNF for me :( I got half way through the book and could not get myself to finish reading it. I feel like the author just dragged it on and on. The story in itself was so sad and disturbing but it was just one of those books I had to stop reading all together.
