The Cosmere discussion

If you had to pick one of all the protagonists in which this story focuses, who would you choose and why??? Please don't do any spoilers from the ryhtm of war as I'll start reading it in a couple weeks.

For me, I think that Shallan is the one who I felt most connected to. Her story was heartbreaking but beautiful on equal terms and I felt moved by it.

Love Shallan forever, but for me and in the Stormlight Archive, no character can take Dalinar's place.
From his horrific monstrous back, to his fall at the Rift, ending with one of the most inspiring redemption stories I've ever read(concluded in Oathbringer). Dalinar's journey from conqueror, warrior, terrifying beast of a man to the father, leader, honorable man he is today puts him at number 1 for me.

Oh man that’s a tough one!! Each character has such unique features and an inspiring backstory, I think my favourite character changes each time I reread. Most recently Navani has really resonated with me, especially through her struggles with imposter syndrome and drive to understand and handle everything herself. I also love Kaladin and Adolin with all my heart… and Lyft… and Shallan…. Ugh I definitely can’t pick!!!

Another perfect Sanderson representation of mental health, is Navani's imposter syndrome! It's so real you almost feel as if the writer was a specialist in mental health!

I have to say Kaladin has had my heart from the time I first met him!
