I got a kick out of this one as well.
I wasn't aware that the title of this book is a reference to a classic book! It is a book I've actually read but I wasn't aware of the subtitle or maybe I've just inconveniently forgotten it. Truthfully, I didn't have very high expectation of this book but it was such a delight! It was funny and the many literary references were interesting and oh so clever. I love the setting and the characters were marvellous as they stumble along trying to fix something (by setting up the "correct" marriage couple) and solving a mystery. And all the time, I was screaming, "The Butler Did It". Love it - highly recommended!
