Marsh Myers (marshmyers) | 4 comments Books can change lives... and probably you have a few from your teen years which touched you so deeply you remember the experience years or even decades later. As I'm re-reading some of my favorites from my teen years, I thought I'd create a Listopia list to see what other YA book titles impacted people so much they continued to resonate well into adulthood.

Marsh Myers (marshmyers) | 4 comments I agree, Myriam. That's one that just sticks with you forever. I'm currently rereading The Secret Garden which I think my mom read to me when I was in elementary school. I'm seeing it through different eyes now that I'm an adult.

Bridget M (bridgetmc) Harry Potter changed my life because it's the series that first got me into really reading. So much nostalgia :)

Nidhi Bhatt Harry Potter definitely! It got me starting to read novels which are in a series and taught me about the wait for the next book launch.

Marsh Myers (marshmyers) | 4 comments I actually went back and re-read A Separate Peace because that was definitely one of those books I read in high school and it just stuck with me. Kind of interesting to read it through adult eyes now... but still a powerful story.

☆☆Hannah☆☆ Harry Potter because like many people it's the series that got me into reading.

I feel like that with a couple classics.
Don't get me wrong I love shakespeare, poe, a separate peace was great.
Currently I am reading catcher in the rye something i hated in high school because
i was forced to read it. But as an adult I enjoy the story more.
