Been putting off Eric Arvin's Vignettes from Jasper Lane series and now I've started SubSurdity: Vignettes from Jasper Lane

I'm currently reading Reverie by Ryan La Sala. I somehow missed that it was tagged 'fantasy', so I was very confused by what was going on for a while 😆
I’m still finishing up Good as Dead by Holly Jackson, I started it I think mid August then got super busy, but will probably be finishing it up tomorrow. Or hopefully by the end of this month.
my girlfriend and I are finishing up Marcus Kliewer's We Used To Live Here, as like, the book we read to each other before bed, then we're thinking about starting It Ends With Us, just to see what the discourse is about.
Honestly, it ends with us has a great plot, but in my personal opinion, I feel like it romanticizes abuse it starts with us was another good one, but it’s just doing too much. But I am currently reading how to make friends with the dark by Kathleen Glasgow.
I'm currently reading Critical Role: The Mighty Nein—The Nine Eyes of Lucien and Harrow the Ninth. When I am done with those, I have Murtagh on my nightstand.
Crying in H Mart as my most recent book. I chose it for a bingo card in a book discord and this was a book that the server had buddy read before. I don't read many memoirs but I really feel for Zauner's feelings around her mum and her own identity.
Currently reading A Pslam for the Wild Built and loving it so far!!! Also reading The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley :)
Finally read Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow and for me it was worth the hype - one of my favorite reads of the summer and I will be thinking about it for a bit.
I just read Heartstopper (it’s so good omg. I wish I had read it sooner)and I’m reading Aurora Rising, One Of Is Lying, and I’m about to start The Grandest Game
Right now I’m rereading The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, I might read Another Country by James Baldwin or Babel by R.F. Quang nxt
Rn Im trying to read “A little life”. It is so confusing in the beginning, and a lot longer than I’m used to. But it seems really good. And I’m also reading “Almond”, I’m almost finished, it’s really well written.
I am reading "Small Rain" by Garth Greenwell and "Hombrecito". I like both a lot, but the summer was really great because I absolutely loved "In Tongues" by Thomas Grattan, "Evenings & Weekends", and Eric Schnall's "I Make Envy on Your Disco" -- three great books in a row.
Am now reading All the World Beside by Garrard Conley; historical fiction about two men in 18th century Puritan New England.
I just finished the Dao de Jing. A but confusing but good knowledge to have. I'm reading the light novel of Apothecary Diaries and Cinder. Maomao's candid behavior is cute
Hello, hello! I can't really find a book to immerse myself in, but I have a wee request! Do you maybe know of any books where the main protagonist has same-sex parents? Hmu!:)
I want to start Priory of the Orange Tree this month, a lot of people have recommended it@Maksymiliane: no sorry i don't try searching up "queer fiction" or something like that?
Among various things, I'm reading Gabe Cole Novoa's The Diablo's Curse, the sequel to The Wicked Bargain, which I absolutely loved, especially for its amazing nonbinary rep and its demi+pan not-spicy romance. Don't love this as much, but it's still a fun read with plenty of queer rep. The MC's genderfluid and pan (pan rep--yes!), the secondary character is bi or omni (depending on how you read him) and the tertiary character is a trans woman. A tad more spice that its predecessor but it's a YA novel so it's still very mild. Its focus is more on its adventure storyline. Also, Vico Ortiz (who played Jim on OFMD) narrates both audiobooks and does an amazing job!
I also recently finished To the Warm Horizon by Jin-Young Choi, a very different kind of novel. It's an adult dystopian novel so it's got a lot of bleak, melancholy stuff going on--loss, grief, despair, trauma--but at its heart is one of the most thoughtful and deep F/F romantic relationships I've seen in a book (kind of wlw rep I wish I Who Have Never Known Men had been brave enough to embrace but only skirted along its margins). Worth reading if you're looking for diverse wlw/sapphic rep.
I'm reading The Hollow Kingdom by Kira Jane Buxton. It's about a domesticated crow and dog surviving in a zombie apocalypse and saving other domesticated animals. It's an adult novel with swearing, mentions of drugs, and other adult things, but it's funny and heartwarming. It feels like a kids' movie but for adults who love animals and nature in general.
Reading
, a little too detailed than I may have wanted but some interesting insights on behind the scenes wrangling in Gay Politics.Next on the bedside table I have
.
It's the release day of the sequel to TJ Klune's phenomenal book The House in the Cerulean Sea entitled Somewhere Beyond the Sea. Go grab a copy now <3
Currently reading If I Can Give You That , plan to start At the Edge of the Universe or Last Seen Leaving next :)
Has anyone read Evenings and Weekends or I Make Envy on Your Disco ? Really recommend both very much. I'm waiting for Our Evenings
Reading the S0S Hotel series by Adam Vex and Arianna Nash. Although I just finished the last book that is currently out and have to wait until the end of the month for the next one. Highly recommend it!
currently bouncing between the saint of bright doors and emily wildes encyclopedia of fairies - both brilliant so far!

I've been reading horror books for spooky season, and I am going to start Dracula today because I've never read it unabridged/not re-envisioned by other people. Also going to start Eric LaRocca's You've Lost a Lot of Blood, as I've been meaning to read something by LaRocca forever
I'm also starting Donna Tartt's The Secret History, a long read that I feel I'm familiar with without having read it before because it's so talked about. Not my usual literary fare.
Read "Dubliners" by James Joyce - part of my new The Books We ❤️ Club, if anyone's interested in joining. The October selection is "Tales of the City" by Armistead Maupin.https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/...

But just in time because Rick Riordan will be releasing the new Percy Jackson book Wrath of the Triple Goddess in a couple of days and I can't wait
Hi, I am currently reading "From Here" by "Luma Mufleh". It is a memoir about their life growing up in Jorden as a closeted lesbian. It is a fascinating book to read. I grew up in America, which is a very different culture than in Jorden. I have had fun learning about what life was like living there.I would recommend it to people who want to read a Memoir.
Please, don't forget to drink water, eat food, and take care of yourself. Dont have a good day, have a great day.
I'm reading Lone Women by Victor LaValle and Dracula by Bram Stoker as part of my spooky season reading. I've completed 8 horror titles this spooky season so far, a vast improvement over last year's 1 1/2. Only one DNF so far (Eric LaRocca's You've Lost a Lot of Blood--definitely not for me).
When I find a book I love, I tend to read it over and over again, so (for the fiftieth time) I am reading Future Home of the Living God (Louise Erdrich).

I'm reading Napalm in the Heart and enjoying it immensely. It's one of my favorite queer books of the year, along with Fury: A Novel and The Italy Letters.
