Clarifying question: if I signed on for level 1, am I reading one book for each prompt in a month, or am I choosing 1-2 of that month's tasks to complete? It';s a little unclear here:

Levels
Level 1: 1-2 tasks per month
Level 2: 3-4 tasks per month

Object: Read one book for each task for your desired level starting with October.

I thought I was signing on to basically 1-2 books a month that meet one of the 5-6 available tasks

Sorry if I'm overthinking it

JoAnne | 60728 comments Mod
If you read for Level 1, it is 1 or 2 of the 5 given tasks each month.

Example:
You find a book for 5th: Bookshop Day – Read a book with a bookshop in the story. and then you get lucky and find one for 8th: National Justin Day - Read a book by an author whose first name begins with a letter in JUSTIN.

Then you stop and wait for November - if you want!! :)

Agnieszka (agnieszka7) | 619 comments 1. A question to the 50+% rule (To count a book towards a challenge you must read the majority of it after the start date of the challenge.)
Does it apply for each single month or the challenge duration only?
Not sure I make myself clear, so here a more practical try:
I’m just struggling through The Pilgrim's Progress Part I book 1 in Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan - read around 20% last month and will continue with a chapter every few days (or weeks) should I read the last e.g. 20% next month can I still use it as I read more than 50% during the challenge time frame or not because it’s less than 50% for November?

2. And another one about Read a book by an author whose first name begins with a letter in JUSTIN.
Does it apply to books written under a pen name (if on the cover) or using initials only? I’d like to use Born in Death by J.D. Robb (the author’s actual name is Nora Roberts - this series pen name was too well established she kept it even as she dropped her other pseudonyms - the two initials are her sons’s initials :-D)
