I took over moderatorship of this group because it was vacant, and the group seems like its not had a lot of activity in quite a while.
When I went looking for a Christian Fiction group, this was one of two that came up. I am not sure why it withered, but I would like it to be active, so that is can be useful to those of us who enjoy fiction, and don't like feeling like we have to be something other than christian to enjoy it.
For myself, I weigh in more on the fiction side, than the Christian side of the two words. I don't require everything I read to be Christian, but I do like Christian values, and wish they were more on display in a meaningful way in the culture around us.
And for that reason, I will take on this role if it can be of benefit to others.
