Trump is just simply better in my opinion. If Harris had won, the prices of gas would be $10 a gallon within the next 6 months. Trump is making an effort to lower prices of groceries and gas.

Trump is a convicted felon and a terrible person. I doubt either would be great, but Harris at least isn't PROVEN to be awful.

In my opinion.

Trump has been charged with 34 felonies and indicted 4 times. He's a literal criminal.

Harris has improved healthcare for people, helped combat climate change, advocates for women's rights, and more.

Harris is definitely way better than Trump, but if we didn't have a two-party system and third-party candidates could actually win (and I was 18), I would vote for somebody else.

I also don't like how Trump can get away with anything. Has he even served any time for the countless crimes he's committed? He also has a very, very big dishonesty problem.

Ok, so Trump is just out of the question. He has zero empathy for those that don't agree with him (to prove my point, you know how he hates trans people? Caitlyn Jenner, a trans woman, uses the womens' restroom at Mar-a-Lago. Search it up). He also gives me a very bad vibe, always lying like 24/7. And judging by his cabinet picks (*cough* Hegseth *cough*) he is sexist and Islamophobic. And the Stormy Daniels case does not help matters.

Harris is definitely way way way better than Trump, but I don't agree with her support for Israel. She's also a terrible campaigner and fails to see the viewpoints of people who disagree with her. For the life of her she couldn't understand that she needs to focus on more than one issue in order to win.

Um I think Harris is a... pathological liar. At least we KNOW what's wrong with Trump. Harris has been caught lying to different states just to gain votes and popularity. I can give an example if no one believes this to be true. And besides if Harris had won we would probably be at war right now.

We can all agree that neither candidate were amazing, right? After what people have said about Harris, I definitely would have voted for someone else, not Trump of course, because, again, convicted felon, but if there were more candidates I would have chosen someone else. Of course, this depends on who the other candidates were, but there were probably many better options than Harris and Trump.

there were a lot of other good third-party candidates, but again, the two-party system gets in the way. I guarantee you that if, say, Jill Stein was from the Democratic Party instead of the Green Party she would have won.

A large problem is that when stuff like this happens, when two candidates like Trump and Harris become such big parts of the campaign, the majority of people are going to vote for one of them instead of whoever Jill Stein is, per say, even though Jill Stein might have been a better candidate.

Exactly. If you think about it, Harris and Trump are polar opposites. They agree on almost nothing. There's no space in our country for people who aren't radically left or radically right.

Ok, I would like to say, neither. Absolutely neither.

Trump is a felon, an alleged pedophile (last I checked), and a terrible person morally. He's a racist, a white supremacist, and anti LGBTQ+. On the other hand, he would be WAY better for the economy and prosperity of the nation in terms of money and international relations. He may be a terrible person, but he has a better grasp on money, due to him being a businessman, and is better with international relations.

Harris has lots of alleged crimes and stuff, but overall seems like a better person morally. On the other hand, she's a fucking idiot. Terrible internationally, pretty much a trust fund baby when it comes to money, and just not great. Things would've gotten better for the POC and LGBTQ+ population, but other than that (and increased abortion rights) there wouldn't be much change.

I don't like either of them, but think the pros Trump brings to the table outweigh the pros Harris would've brought. (and this is coming from a queer person dating someone whos POC) I DO NOT CONDONE HIM AS A PERSON, and frankly, I don't think he should've been allowed to run for office.

But think about this, WHY did the majority of the population choose Trump? I think there are two main answers.

1: Because they understand what our country needs right now. We need financial help. Making it personal here, under Biden, my fathers business nearly went bankrupt, and it was incredibly stressful for me and my family. Now, the economy should improve, and we'll be able to get back on our feet, along with a goog chunk of the US population. I hate to have to call a heathen the president, but if it means my family won't starve, I'll take it.

2: White supremacy. There's a SHIT TON of people who voted for Trump simply because they didn't want a woman of color leading their country. I think that we need to increase the racial diversity and the teaching of different cultures and people in our country to erradicate this from within. If less of the population is racist, the more likely we are to have non-racist leaders, and more likely to have racially diverse leaders. Will having Trump as president help this at all? Absolutely not. It's going to make it worse, and make it easier for more people like him to come into office again.

And again, as a Queer person, this is a very scary time for me. I hate that Trump is president. I hate it. But, on the other hand, I want my family to be able to survive, and if worst comes to worst, if I lose my rights, if I lose my life, my family will be safer and more likely to thrive under Trump than they ever would be able to be under Harris.
