I hit my goal of 100 books for the year. I would just like to finish some of my loans to wrap up the year.
1. Mutts and Magnolias - just started trying to finish a series.
2. Chasing Sunset - #10 in a series
3. Sea Glass Summer - #11 last book in the series
4. Get Good with Money - Finish audio book 35%
5. Husbands and Lovers
6. The Madwomen of Paris
7. The Vacation House
8. Butterflies Dance in the Dark - finish if I can find my beach bag...
9. The Dictionary of Lost Words - finish renewal at 88%
10. The Boyfriend - Library loan I want to finish
8. Butterflies Dance in the Dark - finish if I can find my beach bag...
What a great idea! Readathons help me organize and get my head straight. I've met my GR goal and reached my challenges for Virtual Mount TBR and Mount TBR already, both in general and for NetGalley ARCs, and I'm stuffing December with Christmas Suspense (a lot of country-house Christmas gatherings with murders) and Christmas cozy and some Christmas horror too.So, TBR: 1.The Christmas Murder Game
2. Murder on the Christmas Express
3. Everyone This Christmas Has a Secret
4.
5. The Christmas Card Murders
6. Finishing (chapter per day)
7.
8.Butter (not Christmas, but I love it).

In a turn of events, I got Covid from Santa. Boohoo! I was on a roll, but now between working from home and feeling like I'm in a fog, I don't think I will finish my list above. I'm okay if that is the case, I finished my 2024 challenge so everything else is not that important.
I hope everyone is having a great end of the year. Is anyone thinking about their 2025 goals?

Thank you, I'm hoping resting up over the weekend will restore a couple of brain cells. The fog is real! I've been listening to an audio book while I work, but I keep having to rewind...hahah
Holidays plus an 11-month-old are keeping me busy! And my husband only has Christmas Day and New Year's Day off so no extra reading time. Thanks for setting this up, Andrea and so sorry Santa brought you covid! ☹️ As of today I want to finish
. I have borrows out from Hoopla and Libby but none of them are due in 2024 so if I manage to squeeze in another, great!

I know how busy you are Elyse! I bet your Christmas was magical though seeing it through the eyes of the baby!
If you have time, will you set up the 2024 COMPLETED file. I have tried several times but I think I'm doing something wrong...hahah

Happy New Years, ya'll.Always love a read-a-thon! Good thing I am sick as a dog, so I can get some books read....
Hope to finish 10 books. Will post that on 12/31.
I finished
yay! And now I'm 64% through
plus I started a 9-hour audiobook today
, my last holiday book of the year. I am listening at 2x speed so it's only 6.5 hours lol.
Bastien had his first fever yesterday. 😭 His fever broke overnight so he's doing good now but he's super low energy and cuddly so it's very easy to read on my Kindle or pop an earbud in! No mom and baby group today though, it would be too much stimulation for him. Maybe tomorrow.

If we have any interest, we could also do a New Year readathon 1/1-1/6. I am feeling better and can be available over the weekend.
