I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacquline Harpman.

It's a coming of age story in a semi dystopian setting and how we can never be certain.

Or if you're looking for something Semi-connecting: My year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshfegh.
(I personnally felt somelike connected without being able to put a finger on it)
