Hello! I'm currently reading the book above & loving it. I like a good, but not too graphically gory, detective novel & this is part of the max wolfe series. retiring soon so looking forward to even more reading + interested in joining a 'real' book club if anyone has any recommendations. Looking forward to hearing about your reading likes :)

I've not read any Tony Parsons but I've just read the blurb for Taken and it sounds good.
We have quite a few groups scattered around the Wirral. If you email us at libraries@wirral.gov.uk Sophie can check for any openings for you,as a lot of groups are at capacity at the moment. You are always welcome to discuss starting a new one with us if you are interested.
We also have an online book group 6.30 on the third Thursday of the month. It is via Zoom so we send you a link. We don't read a particular title we just discuss all of the books we have been reading for the past month so there are many and varied genres discussed. Again just email us at the above address.
