Between the Chapters Book Club discussion

Have you read other books that have reimagined classic novels? If so, how do you think The Other March Sisters measures up?

I've read some that were took elements of the original and created completely new characters that had things in common with the original. The Other March Sisters had a bigger obstacle in rewriting some of the same events from the classic but putting a different spin on them, as well as making big changes to the core of some of the characters.
