with that, i'll start the discussion: recently i've been a huge arctic monkeys fan. do you all have any music "phases" you're going through?

My music phases are always the same 2 and they switch with each other or they even exist at the same time hahah

1. Rock music like Muse vibes
2. Country music

currently I’ve been really into Eminem. I just love his music! But I’m also a big fan of Taylor Swift, JENNIE, and Ariana Grande <3

and yesss Jennie I’ve been trying to get more into kpop recently!! any songs you’d reccomend?

i love arctic monkeys!! i have an am poster in my room (although i really don’t know the majority of their discography, i’m still stuck in the favorite worst nightmare/am era and haven’t delved deeper 😭.)
currently i’ve been obsessed with chloe ament (really recommend her for cinematic pop/alternative music), the crane wives, and ttpd: the anthology

yess the marauders!!! I read atyd but I don't have an ao3 acc so I was trying to read crimson rivers translated into spanish.... perhaps one day I can reach the gay fanfiction level of fluency

ahh the marauders are my lifeline, i write fic for them but i haven't actually read many of the popular ones ._. i'm planning to read crimson rivers w my friend soon though so the song's full effects will hit (as if it hasn't been my #1 song on repeat already 😭)

ALSO on the note of chloe ament, she wrote a song called "until the end" about lily and james and it's so good

crimson rivers is lowkey the best piece of literary fiction i have read ever let alone the best fanfiction ever (maybe bar that one merlin/james bond crossover) i can't recommend reading it enough !!! i very rarely say this about books but CR really does change your brain chemistry

tysmm! yess bea is so good, i feel like some people can find her music repetitive and angsty once they've listened to a lot but i really love her sound! especially with her newest album, it's clear her sound/instrumentals are a lot crisper and cleaner
