Megan | 3 comments I think HBO will do it justice. The only reason that I would be worried I feel like they rushed Salem’s lot when they redid the movie, however, they do a really good job when it comes to show series. I am personally looking forward to it.

Jakob Shingler | 36 comments I’m excited for this show. I’d like to see how It’s influence infects the town of Derry over the years. We saw glimpses of it being done in the films and miniseries, but having a whole show about it would be interesting. Also Bill Skarsgard returning as Pennywise!! Nuff said 😁

Chris Venegas (elgringo115) This is perfect timing as I’m currently reading It! I’m 630 pages in currently and plan to have it finished by next week! I’m so excited for this series

Craig | 1 comments Trying not to get too exited by Welcome To Derry. We don’t have Max (or whatever they’ve renamed it to) in the UK. We get the HBO stuff instantly via Sky but not the Max stuff. So no idea when it will be on over here

Erin (ems84) | 2672 comments HBO does their shows well so I have high hopes for this one.

message 11: by Steve (new)

Steve D | 3 comments I am interested in the timeline. The first season takes place a couple of years after IT was active... and the production info shows timelines similarly within 3-5 years of his known activity. I am very curious how that is handled.

Not sure how accurate it is but I read three seasons with 10 years in between them with it going backwards 10 years further each season. Or maybe 20 each season since someone points out parents in the trailer that may have been kids in another generation

I'm honestly not sure if this is sarcasm and a jab at how long HBO and Netflix have had between seasons for their most popular series or if the timeline is a 10 year jump between seasons. Either one works for me. It's just that I laughed at first and thought, that's funny and so real and then I was like, wait a minute... lol

message 14: by McDougReads (new)

McDougReads | 18 comments It’s 27 years between each season. The first takes place in 1962, the second 1935 and the third in 1908. Each of them are separate IT cycles.

message 26: by Aimee (new)

Aimee (aja0420) | 1 comments I have watched and loved every Stephen King inspired production. Until now….Im going to finish this because that is what true fans do. But so far, I don’t love it. The baby was worse than horror movies I have seen that were produced in the 50’s.

message 27: by Kit★ (new)

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 617 comments Probably going to wait until the whole season is out, because I already have too many subscriptions going on, but I'm looking forward to it!

Jacqueline (thereaderx1f4da) | 31 comments I feel like they over killed haha with the horror it became to much and I was like oh come on I get they trying to out do one another with who can do a Stephen king book screenplay better but come on. I decided not to watch episode two instead I decided to watch the remake of IT and I did not like it at all the plot was so off. anyway one part I did enjoy was when the old lady in part two of the IT movie came out stomping and was gigantic I was driving at night and my sound system was like here be scared 😱 lol.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) | 36 comments Ive been excited for like 2 years. Going to finally watch today
