I really love sleeping, so I feel like I am neither a night person or a morning person. However, I do love to read with a cup of coffee in the morning before I start work.
I hate mornings. I like to stay up til 3-4am, and sleep til 10-11am, not a ridiculous number of hours per night, but significantly shifted. I get my best focus for reading between 11pm and 3am. It helps that by then everyone is asleep so there are fewer distractions.
I can easily read until 3am but rarely allow myself to do it because of other commitments, so I put myself in the night owl category for inclination.
For the last couple of years I transitioned to an early bird :) I noticed it doesn't affect my reading time - I read the best when undisturbed, regardless of the time of the day (or night!)
Definitely a morning person, Im usually asleep by 9pm (winter) or 10pm (summer). My best time to focus on reading is the afternoon however.
