The Haiku Lounge discussion

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share a haiku from my collection, Unplugged: Haiku & Tanka because I like to take breaks from technology and be immersed in Nature:

forest mist . . .
thoughts drift
into other worlds

I find writing haiku is often a meditation in itself, a way to notice stillness and subtle changes in Nature. All proceeds from my poetry books are donated. I donate monthly to The Nature Conservancy (https://www.nature.org/en-us/), which is a great organization that I highly recommend checking out.
