Very Sad News: Our dear Tessa's husband just recently passed away and she wanted us to know it will be a couple of weeks before she post anything.
.... It's Ok, Tessa. Take your time. Chris & I are so saddened about the passing of your wonderful Richard. We ❤️ You!

Tessa, I am so very sorry for your loss. Although time will soften the edges and the hurt, it will never fill the hole, so my prayer for you is that time gives you the healing you need to get through the worst of your grief and take you to the point where you can remember him with a smile. Hugs to you, wind to his wings, and peace to your heart.
My own news ... my husband was diagnosed two weeks ago with Mantle Cell Lymphoma, so my next year is going to be 3-4 days a week traveling to, from, and sitting in the waiting rooms of MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. I'm going to need a ton of distraction - and I can think of nothing better than a book challenge. Well, riding my HORSE, but I can't do it at Houston, so he's going to be standing around in the pasture 4 days a week.
We are hopeful that hubby is going to be placed in a very promising clinical trial, and are waiting on ONE test result to come back which will be the deciding factor for whether or not he's a candidate. Prayers are coveted.
And I'll be here for the December challenge for sure. I already have a stack of five books picked out, and am just waiting to see where they fit.
Dear Pat,
Prayers will be going out to your husband and you during this time. Safe travels and Good Books!
