Time for a confession! 🤫 Which intimidating classic is staring at you from the bookshelf? Moby Dick? War and Peace? Tell us the title and what's stopping you from diving in!

Squire (srboone) | 84 comments The Faerie Queen by Edmund Spencer. I have a copy I bought for an English Lit class in college sitting on my bedroom shelf taunting me. I have a Penguin Classics edition sitting next to it, joining its voice to the chorus. And then there's the leather bound 3-volume Easton Press facsimile set blowing a raspberry at me in my living room. I just can't escape it.

I don't know what's holding me back, but I always find another book to read instead of it.
