Aussie Readers discussion

It's time to mark our calendars for our SUMMER (and final) read-a-thon for 2025. It will take place Friday 5th December at 12.01am and continue until Sunday 7th December at 11.59pm in your local time zone - 3 full days :)

We read 20,358 pages last quarterly read-a-thon, so for our December/Summer readathon, we'll aim for 21,000 pages.

Please post your interest here in this thread up until we begin the challenge - when the weekend is over the page numbers read will be tallied :)

If possible, check in at least once a day, more often if you want. Our cut off time for you to add your final totals with a NEW POST will be Monday 8th December AEST :)

I've got a book advent calendar to keep me occupied! I've just started The Mystery Guest and will be getting a book a day til Xmas so plenty to keep me busy!

I can't guarantee to do much reading but would like to give it a go. If I am well I have a weekend full of performances, but that is looking less likely so read-a-thon here we come!

I am looking forward to this, I will get the groceries done early tomorrow and then into the reading, although I do have to make two Christmas cakes as well but there will be reading time and seeing as how it is going to really hot, indoors with the AC on perfect, enjoy your reading everyone
