Hello, my name is jules, yes, just jules, not Julian or Julio,, just Jules. I am a Canadian and advise reader. I I’ve in Montreal and am a senior director for a mining company.
I wrote a book last year and loved writing it. Then came the aftermath: marketing. So I am back to reading. I tend to lean towards detective and thrillers with two of my faves being the Brunetti series by Donna Leon, the Gabriel Allen series by Daniel Silva, amd the Ikmen series by Barbara Nadel. Also a big fan of Christopher Moore and Terry Pratchett.
In between I will total go off and will read the Illiad or the Anabasis or the Jewish Wars by Josephus.
In my spare time I ski, ride and sail but have less free time as I have two teenagers and run “Dad’s Taxi Service” every weekend.
