The nature of Mose and Salome's relationship came as a surprise to me. Did you suspect? What did you think of what was going on between them at the time the secret is revealed?

When they were in the loft of the barn, it became obvious what had been going on. What wasn't clear was the depth of what else was going on from Mose's childhood and Salome's motivations for further disclosures.
Yes, it is obvious in the barn but I had no idea before that. John's reaction sort of summed up my feelings about Mose at the time (of course, it turns out that there is more to it than meets the eye).
I was more accepting of the relationship once Salome revealed that they weren't actually siblings but "kissing cousins" isn't much better.
I was caught flat footed on this relationship. Never saw it coming. At least kissing cousins wasn't quite so bad:)
