Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Was there ever a time in the story where you suspected Salome? If so, when and why?

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments If not before, then at least when Kate overheard the little brothers hiding and talking themselves into keeping quiet.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments I suspected her when John told Kate about Salome whipping Mose. He was really badly hurt, which indicated a certain amount of viciousness on her part.

Then I thought back on all the other incidents with Salome - her desire to leave the Plain Life, her taking Kate to see the mason jar with the money (which planted the idea of a robbery), the fact that she "escaped" from the truck as well as the question of how could Mose shoot at Kate if he were driving?

I was clueless about that vixen until I heard her brothers talking about her. Well, shortly before that though. When Kate rescued Sam and Ike, I started getting very suspicious. I couldn't believe Mose had it in him to kill his brothers and I started sniffing around Salome. Still didn't want to believe it but I was kind of looking her way. When the boys confirmed it, everything started slamming into my brain and connecting.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 2240 comments Yes, I also couldn't see Mose putting the boys in the pit. It was just so cold and calculating and I never got that feeling from him.

I agree...Mose did not seem like that whereas Salome had a bit of fight for myself vibe. She would do anything for self preservation.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1392 comments ...she was a very disturbed, and disturbing, character...
