I know I've said this before but Percy Jackson is supposed to be twelve years old in the first book... The guy that plays him will be eighteen in January...

Well you know how they like to change up things lol

Good point. It probably does steer them a little further from Harry Potter since he doesn't start out at the same age.

Cindy | 35 comments I just saw the movie, it was between okay and good. Maybe because I read the books I noticed that a lot of parts missing and they changed some details but it was good. Personally I liked the movie but I "LOVED" the books. ; )

the movie is GARBAGE!

Rick Riordan should have been involve in the movie. they just ruined the whole book's storyline.

I didn't read the book but my 11 year old did and when we saw the movie she kept saying "that didn't happen"
I liked the movie.

really? why?

message 16: by Gorfo (new)

Gorfo Well I thought the movie was great as a movie. It had smooth transitions, good music, and several golden moments. The acting was half bad either. It was almost completely different from the book though.
