Sierra Jade, grand-daughter and I are currently reading, "George's Secret Key to the Universe" by Lucy & Stephen Hawking.

My 9 yr old is obsessed w/ the Percy Jackson books! And The Warrior's series about th ecat clans.

I read the whole Harry Potter series to our family, except the last book. Took a long time, but well worth it. It was an experience I'll always treasure. By the last book, the family had grown out of it - but that was ok.

I would love to find another book that could capture the family's interest.
