Hi all I just jooined. I will say up front not sure how many of the actual BotM's I'll be able to participate in since my book budget is near nil. I am also a reviewer so I get a ton of review books which always have to take priority. But I figured, what the heck, give it a try and see. :-) So here I be.

It's ok if you don't have time for all of the monthly reads, I myself sometimes need to skip if I get too busy.

That is very cool that you are a reviewer, I have often wondered how one gets to do that :)

thanks for the welcome Tricia. I had recently tried anotehr group but didn't feel at all welcome there so I left and went searching for others. And found y'all. So I doubly appreciate the warm welcome here.

Yeah the monthly group reads will probably be difficult for me since I hardly ever even manage to read the monthly read for my in person book clubs. LOL But I try.

Actually you'd be surprised at how easy it can be to become a reviewer. Staying a reviewer is the tricky part. ;-) Most review sites usually require a sample review before they accept someone then work closely with them when they first join to make sure they are able to understand and meet any requiremetns there may be. I DO love the free books part of the equation, even if it means I have to put aside "for fun" reads. And a lot of review requests anymore are for electronic books rather than print ones but that usually means a lot more variety since publishers often push the envelope more in eBooks and let authors try different things. I've found some of my favorite authors that way.

I'm glad to be here and give the book club a try.

I'm really excited about the BOM. I reread the book before joining and love all the feed back everyone has on Poison Study.

Kelley, the reviewing sounds really fun, but I don't think I could give up my “for fun” reads.

Hi everyone! I am new here. I am pretty active on the Paranormal Romance group so some of you may recognize me :) If that is the case than hello old and new friends. :) I will probably post a Buddy Read later this month. I am currently reading The Lightning Thief which is only loosely related to paranormal but if anyone is reading it too (with the movie coming out this month) let me know. I plan to read some darker things when I am finished with this.

Hi, I'm Christine and have taken up reading much, much more in the last couple of years. I'm a fan of paranormal but love all books with a good storyline :) I've become very obsessive about reading and buying books (You can't have to many books). My husband I think has finally come to terms with it. He wasn't to stoked at first and he actually pouted alot. I guess I wasn't paying him enough attention, ha-ha! I have two daughters 8 and 16, they love to read also, which is awesome. Well that pretty much sums me up, thanks for letting me join your group.

I'm MJ and I just joined, I found you through a GDR friend and saw a really fun challenge she was doing and thought I'd check the group out and I really like it so far :) I'm a book addict and read every day, you know how some people are obsessed with shoes or bags well my addiction is books I just keep buying and can hardly keep up but ever since I joined GDR and started doing challenges I've been doing a better job with my TBR list :P
