Jazmine and Trey ran side by side, panting slightly. Trey laughed as she went behind him. She smirked as she caught back up. They were in the forest, and racing from boredom.

Arin was walking through the woods, she walked out of the glade and someone ran into her, hard she fell back the air knocked out of her lungs.

Janie ran through the woods thinking josh will never be able to catch me

Jazmine stuttered. "Oh, im sorry!" She helped pick up a girl she just ran into.

"No problem." she said shortly

Jazmine smiled at her. "Hi, whats your name?"

"Arin. And what are your names?" She said shortly looking from Jazmine to Trey

Jazmine smiled. "Im Jazmine, and this is my brother, Trey."

Trey didnt look at the girl, he never did. He just smiled tightly and looked at the sky.

"Ok, pleasure to meet you, but I must be on my way." She didnt even give Trey a second glance, that got his attenion.

Jazmine smiled at her. "Ok then, nice to meet you."

Trey kept his glance away. He was tired of this routine...

She smiled a small fake smile, and started to walk off, a small hole opened up under Trey so that he fell backwards.

Trey lightly went forward before he fell, making it seem like nothing. He snickered. "Nice try.."

"Huh? What are you talking about?" She said as he stepped right into another hole

He laughed as he avoided it again. "Your soo tricky.."

I can't beleive this all going down hill. I told my parents i wanted out of this town. But they refuse to let me. So i saved for like two whole Christmases. I have $2,000. It'll get me to New York, and maybe back if i plan it right. My only way of thinking is maybe if i plan a way to get money. (Besides being your average teenage slut.)

I had gotten off the bus on Bulevard and Lexington, street lights all look the same. I had my favorite locket fastened to my neck, knowing i k=might have to sellf it to get a pretty peny, even if it was my mother's.

I walked around the korner and all i could see was darkness. And a hand grabbed my arm and jerked me back into the dark alley. "I hope you have a pretty good reason to have came to this side of time and have the will to get out alive." a voice said. It was clearly a guy. Maybe my age.. I used what i learned in Tai Kwan Dou. I elbowed him in the ribs with my left, and rared back and hit him square in the jaw. I heard a crack. I knew i had done my job quite well to be able to crack something like tht.

But he just chuckled. I knew not to wonder, so i dashed for the light. He grabbed my wrist and flung me hard against the wall. His hands on both of my wrists, stabling them to the wall behind us. "What do you want." I whispered. I know talking to this kid would buy me time to plan my escape. "Hn.. You are quite the interesting one you are." he said. I haven't ever heard a kid of my time talk as such. "I just want to go on my way.. I didn't know i was on your turf, sir. I just came to start new from my home in Oklahoma. I swear i had no intention of harming or taking anything." I said, not trying to ramble. I wanted him to know, maybe he would just let me be... or not. But they wont know where i'd be so i dont think it mattered if i die or not. He was silent, as if what i said had tooken effect. "Sir, I-" i was cut off my him saying, "I know. There are girls like you who come through here with wild dreams all the time. And i know you have some wild dream for you being here.. I wish to know what it is." he said. I let out a sigh to calm myself down. "My dream isn't wild at all. I just wanted to leave my town, and see the world for what it truely is. I can't help but think my other dreams are so much unreal compared to this one." I said, looking down at his shoes.. The light shown alittle.

What Thug Wheres converses?? "You are right. It is such a simple dream. But it will go to waste i'm afraid." he said. "What... are you??" i whispered. He wasnt a thug, and he couldn't have been human either. "i'm a guy." He said, quickly. "You lie.. If you are then this will do the trick." I said, i kneed him in the place where guys shouldn't be kicked. He just snarreled. "What does it matter what i am. You shouldn't care about me. You don't seem to be worried about your life." he said, and slammed my wrists on the wall and he did it repeatedly up to sven times. "Stop it. just stop it. Okay, If your going to kill me get it the hell over with why dont you??" I nearly yelled. I heard his breathing come to a halt. "You are strange. Why don't you quiver or shake?? And you won't scream." he whispered as if he was asking himself the questions. "I'm not going too. Because apparently you care.. Or you would have killed me by now. But you won't and i haven't a clue why?? I understand you really don't want to hurt me." I said. "What do you know. You have to be a monster to be able to live on these streets. And a monster is what i am." he mummered. "No your not. You don't have to be a monster. you don't have to kill me. You don't have to many things... Its New York you can do whatever you choose if you really want it bad enough." I said, i know this boy half way normal.

He dropped my wrists, and jerked me down the alley through the fence steds where there hasn't been fencing in years it looks like. He pullled me into a shadowy light. I saw him perfectly, his hair was black and it ate his gorgous face. This boy was immortally beautiful. "You see what i look like. Now do you understand why i kill?" he said. I just looked at him and my eyes never left his. I shook my head no." I look like a freakn moster." He snarled, and pearl white fnags shown. I didnt even jerk away.

I knew this boy had no intention of this. I'm going to introduce myself maybe he will let his gaurd down enough for me to calm him down. "I'm Lorraine Roth. And You are??" I said looking at him. His face drew over with confusion. "What?" I said. "Everyone screams tryies to fight to get away.... and you introduce yourself..." he said, and he started bursting into laughter. "What.. now your calling me weird. you have fangs.. I don't think I'm so weird." i whispered. He stopped laughing and his face went serious."Troy Rallen" is all he said.

"Now can you atleast tell me what you are now? " I said, jerking my arm away. He actually let me go. "I'm a Vampire... I don't know.. What are you.." He said. " I'm human. and i haven't a clue what you wanted." i said, wanting to dash the hell out of there. But i couldn't leave him.. yeah he wasn't human, but he was still a boy. "I kill for the blood i need to live on.." he said and trailed off. "I...Was... Your... Victom??" I said. He shook his head. "Well... I don't know why you didn't finish me off back there." I said, and as soon as it left my mouth i wanted it all back. It was like i wanted to die.. He raised his brow. I have heard of Vampire's. I even went this gay Twilight faze. But this one was totally different. He did have fangs and he was as normal as they came. His eyes were of a deep grassy green. I couldn't help but mouth the word 'damn'. "What i just said.. i swear i didn't think I'm So sorry." I said.

"You might be one of the beautifulest prey i have ever got a hold of, but your sure a weird one you are." he said. "I'm not that freakn weird.. Damn it I'm still a human being and i wished to be treated like one." I said, and crossed my arms across my chest. I turned the other way. Then my eyes drew wide. It dawned on be.. He called me pretty. I turned back around to see himgiving me an aquird look. "You called me pretty... Why?" I said completely freakn by the way he said it. "Okay, you are strange.. but your really interesting indeed." he said. i looked at him and at the ground.. "Wait. Woah. Can you read my mind, tell the future, Change what I am feeling, anything cool like that?" I said. I felt all Ditzy. i had questions i must know. I have always been interested in vampires but it dawned on me I'm just his intertainment. His face drew over with shock. "Uh, Wait.. your asking me what abilities i have..." he said. I shook my head. i felt all bouncy and happy. He was all of a sudden infront of me. "I'm-" i cut him off. "Fast." I said and took a step back, but he grabbed my arms and wouldn't let me. I knew now that i knew i was dead. I shut my eyes and let out a breath. "What are you doing?" He said. I looked at him. "Aren't you going to.. you know.." I said. "No. I told you. Your wierd. I like that, and i am strong, and thats it.. at the moment." He said. At the moment. What does he mean not at the moment??

"Well did i answer your questions." He said, a grin widely spread across his face. I nodded, but i knew i just lied. "Well, I haven't a clue what to do with you.." He said looking down at me. I was aquirdly dresssed compared to many people. I wore a purple fitted long sleeved shirt with a black spegatti strapped shirt. I had on the front on the left hand bottom, an off white skull and a Hot pink rose. To tack on i wore a pair of black skinnies and converse. Man i had always gotten bad looks for my dress wear.

But he didn't insult me call me weird because of that.. It was my personality. "Well,what do you mean what are going to do with me?" I said, i just wanted to be let go. He doesn't have to worry, I don't know anyone and i wouldn't tell on such a marvolous creature. "Well, I can't let you free. But i can't kill you.. So i might just have to kepp you around." He said, just staring down at me. I was like 5'4' and he is like 5'11'. I hadn't ever thought of me meeting a Vampire. He didn't freakn glow, and he doesn't have the other powers they say in the books. I'm kinda glad.. He is like none of what i had expected from something immortal. It still shocks me that he won't kill me.. and i haven't a clue why. "Why won't you let me go. I don't know anyone here. Plus, i wouldn't want to tell on someone who spared my life." I said, a smile went across my face.

No way he actually wants me around.. If i end up dieing... I guess it taught me not to have came to New York after all. "The thing is.. I think i can trust you.. But then again you haven't anywhere to go." He said, grabbing my wrist again. " Neither do you... Don't you just roam the streets." I said, i know not of any of a vampires lifestyle.. "Psht.. no. I have an apartment here. The landlord lets me work for him and i get the place." he said. He made it sound wonderful to have a place to hisself. He sounded like i did before i had left, i wanted to be on a my own. He wasn't a monster.. He was just as human as i was.. except for the other cool powers.

"Well I guess you have a place till i know what to do with you." he said. As he pulled on my wrist i tryed to jerk away. "No, stop." I said. He stopped and let me go. "Well, what's the matter?" he said. " I am not going to live with someone i don't really know... more the less..." I trailed off. His face drew with pain. " A monster." He finished. I would never call him a monster. I couldn't get the word Vampire. "no. I was going to say Vampire.. But whatever. I won't." I said, turning and walking the other way. He didn't stop me. I walked throught the opening in to No-nothing fence. Whenever i got to the alley way I felt something pull me back. I let out a Eek, as i was pulled back into the alleyway. I looked abck to see Troy. "Let me go." I said, as i jerked my and away from his hand. "Well, don't go and maybe I'll stop having to scare you.. Lorraine." He said, as if he had known my name for forever. "Well, I'm not going to live with you. Dang.. I didn't think Vampires could be so persistant." I said, as i gave a dirty look. A grin came across his face. As if that statement was something to be proud of. "Well, your either going to come and stay till you have enough to buy your own.. Or stay on the streets and hope the OTHERS don't get to you." He said, infisizing on the word others.

There are more of his kind in New York. "Uh.." Is all that fell from my mouth. I knew i would die against another Vampire... But i haven't a clue why i hadn't aginst him. "It seems i do not have a choice." I said and crossed my arms. Almost in a pouting poze. He smiled and grabbed my arm. "Let me go. I'm fine i can walk on my own thank you." I said, i knew i had to work around his strength.. He doesn't want to hurt me.. But it doesn't mean he won't. "What were you going to do??" I asked innocently. His face drew over with ease and all he could do was let out a sigh. "What's wrong Troy?" I said, I knew my voice had to stay firm. I couldn't let up a bit on how i felt him being what he is.

His face went a shade of red.. "Well i was going to carry you so we could get there faster. " He said, as if he was a shy little boy. "Um.. Can't we just walk?" I asked. He stared at me and let go of my arm. "Yeah. Whatever makes you happy." he said, as a smile never left the curve of his lips. Well, I don't beleive a Vampire said 'Whatever makes you happy.' to a human. "Well, I know i don't make any sense to you.. but may i know why you are letting me stay with you." I said, i know i keep pushing him with all the questions. "Well mostly because you the only human that doesn't seem to be scarred away so easily. That is hard to find in man kind today." he said, looking down at me.....

He just kept on his toes as if he were going to kill someone. "Well, maybe the reason I'm not scarred is because i am the only reason i don't run.. And the ones who run and who are scarred are because they don't understand." I said, looking down at the ground. I always knew one thing about man kind, they fear things they don't understand. I asked, i couldn't help but be curious after all this time. My purse, backpack and dufflebag were getting alottle heavy. "About twenty seven blocks." he said, looking at me. "Damn it." I mummbled trying not to sound whiny. He let out a chuckle. "Are you sure you don't want me shorten the trip there?" he said, as a grin spread across his face. I feel like such a weakling compare to Troy.. But he apprently didn't mind or he would have not had offered. "i'm sorry.. but that would so much better." I said. "Don't apologize. I offered and it isn't a problem." He said, as he jerked my duffle bag off my shoulder and put it on his. And simultaniously i was in his arms...

Wow. He is strong.. Really strong. "Ready." he whispered. i just nodded and closed my eyes. It was about a minute later he put me down. My stomache felt as if i had gotten off a roller coaster. My head was spinning. "Thank you.. Are we here." I asked. He nodded. I looked this well kept up with twenty four story building. He had money. "You... live... here." I said, as i dashed for the doors. "I live on floor twenty three." he said and lead me to the elevator. I can't beleive he lives the life. while we were in the elevator, the music made it seem as aquird as the time we have been together. When the door dinged and opened on his floor, we stepped off. We went down the hallway to a mahogany wood door. It read #303, in gold plated numbers. He unlocked it. As he opened the door he looked at me. " Do you-" he said as i cut him off. "Oh My. This is amazing. I don't beleive this." I said, as i saw the mini fridges and the bar. The walls were gray and black with antiquish flowers bordered the walls. There was one queen sized bed. I knew where i belonged. I walked over to a couch and sat my things at the end.

"What are you doing?" he asked, as he walked over to me. "Um.. Don't i sleep on the couch.." I said confused. "No." he said, as he gave a look of what are you doing. Oh, then where am i suppose to sleep. I had always tooken the couch over the floor. But i guess beggers can't be choosers.

Will looked to the sky her eyes blue

"I still have nooooo idea what your talking about, Trey." She smiled sweetly

He laughed. "Ok then..."

Jazmine sighed. "Cmon Trey, another one??" She laughed as he looked at her fiercly.

She looked back for a split second, then kept walking

Jazmine jumped into a tree.

She soon was running trying to clear her mind

a boy sits in a tree eyes closed just thinking. While a girl sits on the ground under the branch the boy was in drawing a picture.

Jazmine looked up as she spotted someone.

boy eyes closed, but makes a slight fire spark in front of jazmine.

girl looks up at him, than at Jazmine, "oh, brother...Alex, be good for two minutes" *to jazmine* "sorry about that"

Jazmine smiled. "Its fine..."

girl replies, "my name's Adamina, you can me Ada for short though"

boy sighs and says monotone, "name's Alex or Xander"

Ada about ready to throw a rock at Alex, "his full name is Alexander"

Jazmine laughed. "IM Jazmine, and this is my brother, Trey." She pointed down and Trey managed a smile.

Alex tries to rest again, and gets a pebble thrown at him by Ada, who's annoyed "Alex..we have people here don't be like that"

Alex rubs head and glares at Ada.

Jazmine smiled. "Its nice to meet you!"

Trey rolled his eyes at her enthusiasm.
