Who do you think is better? Why?

MELLO. He tried his hardest at whatever stood in front of him, whatever he faced. How he did it? It was end result that mattered, which may not be the best way, but it sure does get shit done. And hey, it's not like he WANTED to hurt anyone. And tell me, TELL ME, how in the name of L, widdle Near who chews on his toys would have beaten Kira? He wouldn't have. If it hadn't been for MELLO'S SACRIFICE, then KIRA/LIGHT would have WON! But he didn't. Why because of Mello! Someone just TRY and tell me it didn't take major balls to do eveything Mello did. While Near sat on his ass having others do his word and giving instructions. Mello did BOTH. I DARE SOMEONE TO PROVE THAT NEAR IS BETTER!

MELLO RULES !! I agree with what Cali had said. It's so true! That stupid Near wouldn't have won without Mello's sacrifice.

ummm let me think... MELLO! of corse he's better then near no questions asked he's one of the best (wait, scratch that) THE best characters in Death Note (besides Matt of corse):)

i totally agree with that. matt is like..the best character EVER but mello is not far from the best either~ =3
