I always smile when I see people singing or dancing in their cars too.
Danielle "The Book Huntress" wrote: "I am a big car singer/dancer. :)"I've put on some major shows in my car...lol
Yes, it is. I have a long commute, so music is crucial for me. And the dancing/singing keeps me awake.
Danielle "The Book Huntress" wrote: "Yes, it is. I have a long commute, so music is crucial for me. And the dancing/singing keeps me awake."I know what you mean. I'm useless without my music!
What sucks is when the person you carpool with isn't in the mood for certain music, especially when it's exactly what you really want to listen to.
True. My mom doesn't care for alternative music, so I have to turn it down or turn it to something else when she's riding with me.
I won't sing in front of strangers, but I'll sing it sister! in my car. I don't care if I torture my poor husband and son. It's funny to hear my young son singing the Clash or some heavy metal stuff my husband subjects him to.
We love to sing "Champagne Supernov-ER" really loud in the car.
My sons used to love headbanging out with me when they were younger to my 80's Metal bands especially Quiet Riot. In fact when I went to a concert several years ago to see them at a local bar, I got to meet them at a "meet & greet". I told them that my 6 year (at the time) old didn't seem to understand that they didn't mean it literally when they sang "Bang Your Head", because he kept banging his head against the back of my carseat. lol. They loved it. 2 of the guys had kids of their own and thought it was really cute & funny. My 5 minutes of "fame" hanging out with celebrities. lol
