Your list reminds me that I have to add some Muse to my iPod, Sans. Their songs can really liven things up when listening to music on shuffle.
Definitely! I have 3 workout playlists and Muse features heavily in all of them. If you don't have them already, I recommend the Absolution album and The Resistance album. Jason, it tickled me that Bolero was the first song on your shuffle. That's one of my top 50 faves as well.
Man, it's been ages since I listened to Wolfmother. I'd forgotten how good they are.

Tressa wrote: "Well, you know, Jessie's Girl is a classic."So very true :) When I think of that one I always think of "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)" by Rupert Holmes for some reason--another classic that I love (lol!) ;)
Did you ever see Rupert Holmes on any of those song shows singing "Escape"? He were a button down under a sweater. He looked like such a dweeb.

Jason wrote: "I loved everything on your list, Jerrod!"Thanks, I find few people who like metal to begin with, little alone if I mix it with Mozart or other classics.
Tressa wrote: "Well, you know, Jessie's Girl is a classic."I don't own an Ipod (shock**) but I did like your list Tressa. I have Pandora on Roku, but now that I got a DROID I am going to have to add Pandora to it.
My husband loves Springfield and we saw him on tour a few years ago. It was sad, the concert was like a Tom Jones concert lots of screaming and pantie throwing.
He did sound pretty good still.

I saw Rick Springfield way back in the early 80s and it was the same. Couldn't hear the singing because of all the screaming. I also saw Tom Jones probably in the early 90s I think and yep, screaming fans :) My parents took me to that one. I wouldn't have gone on my own. I like Tom Jones'singing but not the man.
I don't understand the panty throwing. That is sad. I went to a Fat Elvis concert not long before he died and the girls wouldn't stop screaming and some threw their hotel keys. Like he could muster the energy to do anything about it.I love the way "Jessie's Girl" was used in Boogie Nights. Dirk Diggler had some moment of clarity in that drug dealers house. I don't know what he was thinking, but I liked it.
Okay, here's my mix:Spiralling by Keane

I guess I'm lucky, Jerrod. Most my friends like metal. Even my wife, though she does not enjoy some of the extreme stuff that I like. But it is difficult finding people who like their metal mixed with some Mozart.
Here's a picture of him on that show:http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_hxdnntF5Nso...

When I said interesting, I meant awesome. But in an interesting way. :)
Carl, I think that your list is interesting as well. I don't think I've heard most of those bands. I'll have to check them out.

Thanks for the heads up, Dana. I didn't know Keane had a new CD. I'll have to keep an eye out for it.
