Tips for Self Promotion, Sales, and Advertising discussion

I am a member of indiebound.org which helps independant businesses and local communities. They now have a new widget (not as great as the goodreads, I must say :-), but I have been playing with the idea of posting it on my site and creating a new booklist with the pay it forward books on it. At the very least, I might post it to my blog. Just thought I'd throw out the suggestion, and if you haven't joined indiebound, there are some really great small bookstore owners who would be more than happy to talk shop!
