Madonna did have some interesting videos, didn't she? I miss that whole MTV era, where you couldn't wait to see the latest videos. I always enjoyed seeing "Express Yourself" and "My Isla Bonita".

Oh yea, all the early Madonna videos were great.I even liked some of Peter Gabriel videos especially "Sledgehammer" and "Don't Give Up".
I love Madonna's "Ray of Light." I like the videos for "Bittersweet Symphony," "1979," "Bullet with Butterfly Wings," "Hurt," "Fake Plastic Trees," and "Sunny Came Home." I'm sure there are lots more I've loved over the years, but I haven't watched a music video channel in forever. Can't stand them; they make me sad for the heyday of MTV when I was a teen.
For the most part I was never really to interested in the videos, I just wanted to hear the bands and maybe discover something new, but I always liked the videos by The Gorillaz though I could never actually get into the music. Also, did anybody ever watch VH1's Pop Up Video, when I was a kid I used to love watching that just for the silly comments/trivia that would pop up during the video.
One of the worst I've ever seen is from that Michael Jackson look-alike for the song "I Always Feel Like Someone Is Watching Me." Man, that was some horrible acting on his part.

"When I'm in the shower I'm afraid to wash my hair. I might open my eyes to find someone standing there." Classic.
Plus, the artist Rockwell's real name is Norman Gordy. He is Barry Gordy's son. Barry Gordy as in the founder of Motown.
I think my all time favorite is "Wrapped Around Your Finger" by the Police. The slo motion is just barely off of the song. I am entranced by it every time. That and watching Sting drop the hot wax all over his feet!!!My second has always been "Is There Something I Should Know" by D2. I just love those blue shirts and white ties!!
I love Remember the Time by Michael Jackson. It was pure theatre, with Iman and Eddie Murphy as Egyptian Royalty. Magic Johnson was their royal messenger/gong boy. John Singleton directing and a really cool song under it all.I Also love Buddy Holly by Weezer and Hey Ya by Outkast. Both well done videos.
And Missy Elliot's The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly) is a visual feast. I remember it being quite avante garde as far a rap artist went at the time.
I was never around when MTV played videos. I blame it for the death of real rockk but anyway I don't have a lot of artists that did videos. Paramore's are pretty cool. Especially Brick by Boring Brick and The Only Exception. I mainly watch my favorites in concert though. I'm not a music video person.
I always loved Thriller by Michael Jackson. That's in a league by itself! (And I'm not a huge Jackson fan.)We're Not Gonna Take It by Twisted Sister! This is so much fun! And Cum On Feel The Noise by Quiet Riot.
Ok, everyone, get it out of your system....go ahead and roll your eyes at me.....lol
I can't say which is my favorite because I really liked a whole shitpot of videos from back in the day. I do like Lionel Richie, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Phil Collins, Aerosmith, of course Queensryche. I could go on nameing them, but what would be the point. There are so many to like. I didn't like the cheesy videos like Whip It -by- Devo, or that 99luft Balons -by- Nena, Reach -by- Martini Ranch, you have got to see how cheesy this video is.

Metallica's "One" music videa scared me when I was little. Is that the one with clips from that movie? That's what scared me. It was soooo weird.
I love the scenery in this video by Sheryl Crow--"The First Cut Is The Deepest". The song's not bad either...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBcAW6...
I love this song, Auntee. Hey, I thought Rod Stewart wrote this song, lol! It was written by Cat Stevens in the late sixties. I love Rod's version out of all I've heard. His scratchy voice adds a surprising tenderness to the lyrics. But I just watched this one on YouTube. Who the heck is P.P. Arnold?

The scenery in Crowe's video is beautiful. But I just don't care for her voice, especially on this song.
Interesting--I never heard of her. Looks like she must have been a big star in England in the 60's.Looks like a lot of artists have covered that song. I like Rod's version too.:)
I love Bryan Adams : Heaven, Summer Of 69, Run To You, Everything I Do, and so many more.
