Sign up will begin today and end August 29th

Each participating member will pick a book from another participating members TBR pile for them to read.

Ex. if 7 members sign up then I must pick one book for each member to read from their GR TBR pile.

Ex. 2 Michelle and Jan are signed up. I will go to their TBR here on Good Reads and pick a book for them to read.

Rule 1 You must read one book chosen for you monthly

Rule 2 Once you sign up you must participate. It wouldn't be fair for you to pick books for someone else and not read those picked for you.

Rule 3 You must post your thoughts on the books you've read, whether it's just a rating or a brief comment.


Once everyone has signed up for the challenge. I will post a duration date based on two factors.
1. How many particpants we have
and
2.If all members were to read one book monthly.
(of course you can read more than one a month)

Do you ladies think I should close sign up on Friday, that way we can peruse each other shelves and get our books together?

Only because I love looking at other people shelves, I'd say yes. But I'm ok with whatever everyone else wants to do.

I might suggest giving people until Sunday (4 days instead of 2). Time to look over shelves will be good.

Well you can look through the shelves anytime before september. I just want to shut down signup so we can start the process.

Sounds good to me...I just hope people pick books I can get from the library! lol

I have listed my picks for you ladies based on books that I thought sounded interesting and that I would like to hear your thoughts about. I hope you guys like my choices.

Do we have to choose paranormal books from their TBR lists or can we choose any genre?

Ok, here are my picks. I tried to pick lesser known authors that I've enjoyed.

1.CarolynF's Pick: My first read by Miles and a new and interesting concept for me.


2.Jael's Pick: I really like this trilogy as it is fun and different.


3.Michelle's Pick: This is a bit different as the heroine is unusual because she has no magic. Cute chic-lit paranormal.


4.Elvia's Pick: I've got to go with the hometown setting and a werewolf trying hard to play human.


5.Ann's Pick: Not a lot to choose from so I'll give the nod to dinosaur shape-shifters out to save the world.


6.Nairabell's Pick: An oldie, but goodie. I love the humor (3 of my 5 quotes come from this book and its sequel) especially when Hell talks to itself.


7.MichelleB's Pick: Would you like some psychic with your mystery? Abby's life is pretty interesting.

No they don't have to be Paranormal books unless a person specify that they want nothing but Paranormal books.

LOL no problem...I'll find you another one! I think I have this one on my list so let me know how it goes. I really like her other series.

Can you believe I picked a book for everyone, and then hit the wrong key or something and lost my post!! Ugh!!

ok I added the books to the list. I left off Touch the Dark. Diane- I am glad you picked Simply Irresistible, I am about four books from reading that one lol. Elvia, I did start the DH series I just skipped FL because people said it wasn't actually pertinent to the series. We shall see how I like it. Does Ash show up? :) Good choices ladies.

I had fun going through everyone's bookshelve's. Of course I'm envious of how organized all of you are! I tried to pick books that I've either read and enjoyed, or that I'd like to read, and wanted to know what you thought.

BTW - you have the wrong copy of Hello Gorgeous listed for me, it should be the one by MaryJanice Davidson. Of course there seems to be something wrong with the search, as I can't get it to come up.

What's sad, Jael, is that we had this conversation and I JUST NOW remembered this. Ugh!! I didn't read it either for the same reason but I did notice these character show up in later books. And I don't think that Ash does show in this one lol sorry!

I can't wait to get started!

Btw, I warned hubby there might be books in this challenge I won't be able to get from the library so I'll have to buy them. LOL turns out I was right. Going to wait till all the books are chosen, then I'll hit the store! ;)

LOL yeah I think I will be going to the book store as well. Don't worry about Fantasy lover i wanted to read it after I finished Night Pleasures. I can't wait to get started either.

I really liked the history of the vamps/mages in this series...

Carolyn: Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning---I love this series and hope you like it.

Jael: Destiny Killsby Keri Arthur---This is a great book by her. different from Riley Jenson series but I really liked it and am waiting for the 2nd in the series to come out.

Diane: Morrigan's Cross by Nora Roberts---I fell in love with this series and wanted more!! Never expected that from Nora Roberts so I hope you enjoy it!

Michelle: Wicked Game by Jeri Smith-Ready---I really enjoyed this book and this was the first that I had read by her and loved her style.

Elvia: Succubus Blues by Richelle Mead---I've only read this book in the series but loved it! I'm about to start back up on the series now.

Ann: Sisters of the Ravenby Barbara Hambly---never read this book but it seems really interesting and sounds like a book I would read.

Nairabell: Ain't Myth-Behaving by Katie Macalister---this a fun and light book that is hiliarious! It makes for a quick and fun read!

Nice choice, I just recently finished Destiny Kills and really enjoyed it. I am also looking forward to the next book.
