My name's Lakisha Spletzer and I'm a cross-genres writer.

My genres are science fiction, fantasy, romance with a healthy dose of the paranormal mixed in.

My favorite animal are the felines and you'll notice that trend in my work. I also like to take on subjects (dysfunctional family, neglect/abuse, conspiracies) that get people to think.

I typically gravitate more towards para-romance, but I also enjoy a good dose of romantic chic lit, coming of age, and mystery. Thanks, Damaris! I'm an avid reader of all types of books, non-fiction included, but I especially love lighthearted fiction. I'm a huge Evanovich fan. And I love light romance!!! (It's what I like to write as well).

I also love to read Gothic writers like Victoria Holt. YA tends to be a favorite of mine, too, but again, in general, I stay away from super dark books. I read to de-stress, so unless it's a political book that I read to enlighten myself on a certain subject, I gravitate toward lighter fare.
