Jenna (jenna_marie58) Anyone else going shopping on Black Friday? I'll admit, I'm a bit of a shopaholic and a sucker for good deals.. so I'll definitely be out and about very early on the cold cold morning (I'm in Wisconsin). Anyone heading out really early to get something specific? I'm hoping to find a cheap gps for my boyfriend.

My sister and I might be! Not sure yet. I usually go to the outlets at midnight with my bf but I'm at my dad's this Thanksgiving!

SarahSaysRead Not me, I'll be at work :( I don't usually go though, I hate the crowds. I much prefer to stay home and decorate! I look through the ads ahead of time and give my sister a list of things to pick up for me if she sees them! I am a little sorry I'm not going this year though, because some places are selling the XBOX really cheap and we've been thinking about getting one... hopefully the prices will stay relatively low even after the holidays.

Edina | 24 comments Yep, we'll be going. I went for the first time last year and I was so surprised how NICE everyone was.

Jen (wishesandwanderlust) | 696 comments If I do any Black Friday shopping it will be online! I'm not brave enough to venture out into the crowds. I've heard many horror stories.

Jenna, I was looking through the ads and Walmart and I think Best Buy had a GPS on sale for about $100.

You can always do Cyber Monday (which is coming up), Black Friday is crazy, especially in big cities. I want to shop but I have to think about the long run so no shopping for me this year.

Anyone doing this craziness this year? My sisters do, they are insane! I just don't enjoy shopping at all. I did see one item that may be of interest to all of you though. Barnes and Noble has their Nook Simple Touch on for $79.00 in stores only. I can't believe how cheap the e-readers are getting.

Minnie Nielsen (agentcookie) I get to work Black Friday. At 4 in the morning. At Macys. I'm a bit terrified. People get completely ridiculous! After I get off work I'm going to pick up some crafty stuff, but I intended to it on Friday anyways because that's when I get paid.

Sashana I've seen a few tents (more than a few really) already set up. It's madness! I'm staying home.

Kimberly (kimberlywithat) | 2140 comments I'm trying to convince my family to go see a movie on Friday. We'll be in Beaver Dam, Arizona. With all the retirees. They'd all rather go golfing than shopping, so we could probably go shopping and not even see crowds.

message 11: by Lori (new)

Lori Walker I am on the fence about going today. It's 9:00 where I live, so a lot of the sales are over. Then again, I haven't made a shopping list. My mom said we could go shopping for ourselves, but I don't really have the money to do that. :(

Ema Black Friday gives me purpose to get through Thanksgiving with my often-obnoxious/unbearable family.

I've been shopping all night and day. It's quite a nightmare. My feet are screaming in pain by this point.
