I got The Windup Girl from the library, but I still have to get through Life Is So Good for my office club by January 12 (although I expect them to extend the deadline again because they're slow).Weekends and Fridays aren't good for me unless the club meets in Brighton. :)
Are we sticking to Sci-Fi/Fantasy or are we mixing in Sci-Non-Fi/Skeptic books too?
I'm open to suggestions, with regards to what type of books. My inclination is stick with Sci-Fi/Fantasy (edit: I have been informed that it's easier to call it "speculative fiction".) and if there's something that really grabs people outside of that, we read it.
For meeting, we'll probably bounce between the Greater Ann Arbor area and the Detroit suburban area around Melissa (Royal Oak/Novi/Southfield?), so that if folks can't make one location, there's still an option that might work better. Melissa and Daniel found this awesome little book store that has a private room that the owner would be happy to lend us to use.
My inclination is another Thursday evening, but I'd be open to suggestions on that, as well.
