From here on out, Brewpub will be meeting on the first Tuesday of each month. That means our next four meetings are on Feb 1, March 1, April 5 and May 3. I hope everyone can make it!
We are! I see you've also found us on Facebook, which is where our events are posted now. We always meet the first Tuesday of the month at 7 pm at the Soup Spoon Cafe in Lansing. Our next meeting is April 2, and we'll be discussing Alan Hollinghurst's The Line of Beauty. Maybe we'll see you there!
We're considering changing the day that we meet. MBC has started hosting live bands on Thursday nights, which obviously interferes with our ability to talk about books (or anything else). The only day of the week that they don't regularly have live music scheduled is Tuesday. Does anyone have strong feelings about moving Brewpub Book Club to the first Tuesday of the month (that would be January 4, in this case)?
