52 Books in 52 Weeks (2011) discussion

first of all thanks to Yasmine for doing a great job moderating this group..

its really exiting that we have a large number of people participating in the challenge.. so i think it would be highly beneficial to have this thread where people can offer their thoughts and suggestions what should we do as we go along reading and reviewing books..

so lets hear it people,, put you suggestions/ideas/questions here..

Is anyone else feeling as rusty as I am? I was really excited to begin reading, but like someone said in another thread, I saved it up for today and now i cant get myself to pick up the book:D

I had that problem yesterday. Just tell us what are the books you have in mind, and we can help you on choosing one of them. :D

I haven't bought that yet:( But I agree, it seems interesting, I love the original fairytale!

I just joined the challenge. Last year I read about 120 books because I gave up television for 12 months. I started watching t.v. again, so I dropped my list down to 52. I'll probably read much more, but just in case....:D

How did quitting TV feel like? I want to do the same with Internet, but IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!

When I first quit it was very odd. I felt out of sorts. However, once I got into the books it was terrific! I read 10 books a month during the summer. I don't recommend quitting tv 100%.
