*The class is in the very lowest level of the school. The teacher is brand new and just came from america. He sits at his desk reading a book on potions waiting for students to come. His name is Prof. Freeman*

((You got to make a class?!?!))
((I have been asking...ohmigosh))
((Hahaha hmmmmm lol))*smiles at the student*
Take a seat and we will begin once more people have come.
*goes back to his book*
Oh by the way I am Prof. Freeman.
Chasel
*not going to this class*
*not going to this class*
((hahaa he is awesome at potions, and feels like he doesnt need to attend))
*practically dashes in the door* Is this the new potions class? I ran as soon as I heard. *stops to catch her breath and sits down*

Oh good! I can't wait to begin! *sits up eagerly*
*shuffles in awkwardly and sits down not looking at anyone. whispers to Faith* I'm late, aren't I?
Prof. F*Overhears the student*
No not at all. I was just waiting for more people to come. It appears that this class was highly anticipated.
Of course not! I ran all the way here. I think you might actually be early!
Prof. FHello sofie
*gives a nod as he sets his book down and walks over to the chair. He pulls out his wand and taps the chair once.*
I do not discriminate against ghosts. *winks and walks up to his desk and sits on the front end of it facing the students*
Prof. F*Looks at the class intently*
Now I would like everyone to give an answer.
What do you think of when you think of potions?
*points at Faith*
You first.
I think of the many effects potions has on the world.
Prof. F*Waves his hands around*
There are many of those... If a specific one comes to mind which would that be?
Just in general, potions can cause both good and evil. There is no 'good' potion. If placed in the right hands, a potion, even as simple as a love potion can be evil if used in a certain way.
Prof. FExcellent point Faith. There are many different uses for a potion. And not even specifically uses. The uses often come with the intent. If you use a healing potion to heal a bad person. Would that be a bad potion or a bad intent? Think about that.
Ok next person... *points to airi* You.
*sighs* Okay, well, when I think of potions, I think of bubbly stuff in a cauldron that you can use to..make stuff..happen. Good stuff. Stuff that benefits you.
*Comes in the door, her hair and clothes a mess*Sorry
*Tries to hide a yawn*
I over-slept
*Sits down net to Airi*
Prof. F*waves his hand*
lateness smateness... We were saying what we think of when we think of potions. Who wants to go next?

Prof. FI seee I seee...
Now I would like everyone to open there potions book and brew a potion they think represents them. Or is somehing they would use. You must justify your reason for picking that potion.
*waves lazily to Emma and then starts flipping through the pages of her potions book, looking for a potion that represents her.* Aaahh..this'll do quite nicely. *goes to the cupboards to get some ingredients and throws some stuff into her cauldron, taps the bottom of the pot with her wand, producing a small fire, and starts stirring the concoction with a wooden spoon, humming as she does so*
*Smiles wickedly, already knowing which potion she'll make**Flips trough the pages quicly, then goes to the cupboards to get ingredients*
*Glances at the description in the book and shakes head, scribbling something above the words*
Nuh-uh...
*Presses a piece of ginger, instead of chopping it as the book says. Pours it into cauldron*
*Cuts an Ashwinder eggs, pouring it into cauldron and watches as the color turns poison green*
*Stirs twice against the watch, ignores the book and stirs onl once with the clock, then another time against the clock*
*Watches the posion go purple*
*Bites lip and carefully drips one single drop of Acromantula venom into the mix in the cauldron, watching as it turns into a weird mix of orange and yellow, little explosions bubbling up as it boils*
*Smiles, satisfied with work*
prof. FWhen you are done bring a vile of it up to me and be ready to explain why you chose that poion.
*Pours some of the potion into a vile and walks to the desk*Yo prof. F. I've got my potion
*Places it in front of him*
Chasel
*makes his potion very carefully, tests it on a plant, smiling. he puts some in a vile and looks to Emma.* I am ready after her.

*Smiles*Professor, I chose this potion because it is not only useful and dangerous, it is also a hard potion to make and the first one I ever mastered. I also think that, in some way, it represents who I am
*Holds up the vile of orange-mixed-yellow-exploding-bubbles potion*
It's the explosion potion
*Grins*
Smash this glass and you'll have a crater the size of a small house. Of course, the more you put in the vile, the bigger the explosion. We have muggle history to show us that!
*Places the vile in front of her*
Chasel
I made the Draught of Living Death, since that is what I am. Around me, people die, and it seems like I am just a magnet to death.

Prof. F*Nods at chasel slowly suddenly doubting how well his time at this school was going to go if so many people died. He dropped a leaf from his plant on his desk into the vile. It died*
Good job Chasel. 23 points. Not as creative or unique of an explanation as I would have liked but a good job on the potion.
