It's about a young boy who got the leukosis.When you get a disease like that,you have to shave your hair.So his elder brother shaves his hair,too.His elder brother is a drummer and later,the young boy gets better and they live happily again.It sounds a bit boring,but if you read it by yourself,it's really good!Sorry that I'm not so good at telling stories but I hope you get some chance to read it! Plus,this young boy makes a dangerous pie by mixing toys,drumsticks,rotten eggs and other things! xD
Anyway, I DO STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!IT'S A GREAT BOOK!

By the way, another great book is are Jeromy Strong books. I like his stories a lot, but it would be great if you could make them a bit more loooooonger... cuz they're a LITTLE bit thin for me...

I recommend The Undomestic Goddess. best book by Kinsella so far.

I really like the Series of the Power of Five. Raven Gates, Evil Star, Nightrise, and Necropolis. I'm really looking forward to the fifth book... these series are by Anthony Horowitz.
