Ok I am wicked deep into this spookville hayride of a twister. I have grown such an affinity for Pine Deep. The characters within are so diverse and enthralling that the storyline adds the flavor to them !! In a way I am saddened by knowing the story of Crow shall soon end yet I have been able to ween off slowly by picking up Joe Ledger. Ya know if Joe Ledger went to Pine Deep there would be nothing left so in essence Crow is your PC save the forest use a katana type hero.
The story doesn't exactly end there. There is a novella, MATERIAL WITNESS, set five years later in which Joe Ledger--the hero of my thriller series (Patient Zero, The Dragon Factory, The King of Plagues, etc.) goes to Pine Deep on a case.
Then later this year I'll be posting a couple of short stories online set in Pine Deep.

Wow now thats what I am talking about !! I just picked up the new Joe Ledger and am currently finishing up the last installment in pine deep trilogy. Thanks for the advice on blues music because now my i pod is full of fantastic music that just brings myself and my groundhog killer evenings at feeding time !
Oh man, I just finished the trilogy and loved it. Other readers were recommending the Joe Ledger series, as well. How many Ledger books are there?
