Rabbits are not rodents. They are lagomorphs, and are more closely related to horses than they are to rats or mice.

Dragonflies are one of the fastest insects, flying over 80km/hr.

The world record frog jump is 33 feet 5.5 inches over the course of 3 consecutive leaps, achieved in May 1977 by a South African sharp-nosed frog called Santjie.

Horses rarely, if ever, vomit or burp. Everything has a one way ride to the other end.

Horses are of 2 minds about life, literally. They have both binocular & peripheral vision that engages two separate parts of their brains. The binocular vision engages a logical portion that has a very good memory, but movement caught by the peripheral vision engages almost completely reactive portion. That's what causes them to spook & they can move faster than a scared cat.

Pigs can swim & many love to.

Yeah it kind of does but not properly.
I did it before I put it up here. Can even lick my elbow.....I'm not doing it again though, wet elbow feels yucky.

I read somewhere that The roof of your mouth is ticklish, and if you press your tongue to the roof of your mouth I think it either stops yawning or sneezing...I can't remember which one it was.

Trisha | 2 comments Fastest way to get a bee out of a house or room is turn off all of the lights, leave open a door or window to the outside. They (the bee) will be attracted the light outside and fly out with no swatting or shooing necessary.

If they were really into bling they used silver. It was far more expensive.

Lynda Panther (whitemare) | 7 comments If real custard curdles while you make it (I am a rabid cook) adding an ice cube can rescue the brew. Also blitzing it with a hand-blender.

Too much salt in your stew? Add some uncooked potato or tomatoes.

On that note, your liver is the only organ that can regenerate itself.

Lynda Panther (whitemare) | 7 comments When someone asks 'How old are you?' reply 'Which bit?'... different parts of our body renew themselves at different rates. The liver takes about seven years, the skeleton is faster.... can another geek add the rest?
