Seraph lay on her makeshift hammock, eyes closed. She sighed, rolling over and sitting up, grabbing her staff in the process.
Darren sat on a hand-made wooden chair under the sun, gazing at the calm sea and the highly-spirited sea-gulls. He watched as they picked fish after fish from their sparkling homes and flew back to a shaft of rocks at the end of the bay to the right. The sand was grainy and white, tickling his nerve cells so even when he closed his eyes, the slow lull of the waves and the feel of the glistening sand made him feel at peace. But that was about it.
He lived here his whole life, and it took him what seemed an eternity to appreciate and to encourage poetic thoughts. It almost seemed comical; of all the islanders that have been here, he lived the longest relative to his age. He spent his whole life here, but only now has he grasped the beauty of the sea and the shore that choked all of the islanders.
Darren stood up and gave the sea his back, to get back to his pending work.
He shortly smiled at Aria, who was immensed in her own thing.
((Darren is 12 and he's a robo-human--just in case you haven't read the character description))
Freed was walking along the beach. A man of solitude, not by his own will thought. Every 5 minutes some kind of object appeared near him, everytime he looked at the sea, water made him wet from seemingly nowhere. An annoying power, he hated it. This power took away the concept of friendship from him, it was a power that bringed him nly misfortune.
Freed had always told himself that he doesn't need friends, that solitude is not unbearable. There are men in this world that like being alone, but there are none that can endure solitude. He denied that simple truth. He met one of the inhabitants walking towards him, he smiled to him/her, but as he had done that a large explosion somewhere near him erupted. The inhabitant quickly ran away screaming "Stay away you monster!" - It was a very relative thing, as this island contained nothing but monsters, he guessed that meant that he was a monster among monsters.
Tears. He would have just sprayed them all over the sand if he hadn't run out of them. Over his years of living here, he has cried more than a human ever does during his life, he was simply out of tears. He would have cried again just now, but he couldn't. He simply kept on walking forward with an unexpressed sadness on his face.

"Hello Aria," Darren's voice was soft and halfway between a low and a high pitch, "don't you think today's weather is exceptionally nice? It's cooler than always."Before waiting for her reply he said, "I made some progress with the assignment you gave me though I want you to know I still don't agree with what you are planning to do."
Aria aka Maggie, the awesome one XD wrote: ""And that assignment is..." Aria asked, not remembering what she'd given him."((I made it so you think of it. The first post says something about you guys wanting to escape this island. It's better if everybody is planning for something from the beginning instead of carrying on with nothing. Do you have anything you could ask of Darren that would help you escape it or something? If not, I can edit the last part ^_^))
((It's up to Aria. No need to ask! :D I'll wait for Aria's response before Darren leaves to his "pending work".))
Ella sat in the sand on the beach her tail twitching as she watched the waves. She bit her lip and her hand went to her arm where a large bruise was from when she had tried to swim off the island and was eletricuted by eels. Sighing she bit her lip in thought and her ears twitched hearing a bird in the distance.Sean sat in a tree staring at the sky, how to escape? Swimming? No. Flying? As if. Digging? How would that help? Groaning in frustration he went back to thinking.

((maybe there should be a crashed plane somwhere on the island and they're trying to fix it???? (idea)))
[well they have monthly checkups in which a plane lands on the ground and the scientists leave it to see how their little island is doing. The plane is guarded and most likely it would be extremely dangerous to get close to but it they tried hard enough they might be able to steal a plane, but they'd need a plan and a team.]
Ella's eyes narrowed as she spotted a butterfly land a few feet away. Smirking she dropped into a crouch postion her tail wagging before she pounced on the small insect. Howling in pain she jumped back a large burn mark on her hand from where the butterfly had touched her. Sticking out her tounge she frowned, "Dumb experiment butterfly."
Darren turned his eyes to the Seraph, "Hi Seraph".He turned to look at Aria again with a soft, reprimanding look.
"You forgot that fast? It's only been two weeks since you asked me to create the plane's radio hacking system, right?" he whispered quietly.
There was barely any technology on the island but he managed to create enough useful things from the supply the government had given him every month for regenerating purposes. Monthly, he had to change his batteries because his heart wasn't able to support his robot half. Darren was given spare parts and little metal pieces, many wires and tools.
Whenever he ran out of supply, he notified them and they brought in what he needed; no questions asked. It might've been because the thought that he'd be scheming something never crossed their minds. After all, he was incapable of feeling anything strong against them and they were well-aware of the fact.
They just never thought Darren would be helping everybody else a little with what they needed in order to eventually escape.
((There. Hope this satisfies everybody. No technology as in technology, but he created things for the islanders. I added in the plane part, though it's more about listening in to radio channels of whatever ports. Still thinking of how to pull it off right. I hope you guys like a little of sci-fi 'cause it turned to one without me realizing it.))
Seraph smiled. "Hey Darren! Good to see you again. And this is..?" She gestured towards Aria, twirling her staff reflexively.
Aria smiled. "I'm like that Darren and you know that I get distraced easily..." she said, staring out at sea.
"Oh well, I have to go back to my work" Darren nodded his head and left, disappearing through the forest's thicket.((I can meet anybody on the way, if you're in the forest too)).
Freed continued his venture along the island. He was getting tired, it was hot and he was thursty. Completly to his discomfort. Every time he stepped on the sand, his foot sunk in it making it quite hard to walk. He was fed up with his life, everything in it. YThe example from earlier pointed out to him that he will have nothing that can be called a friend, not now, not ever.
He kept walking under the heat of the sun for a good hour, until he reached some sort of house. He wanted to enter in it but saw a few people there, one of which was leaving towards the forest. Freed though better of entering as his imagination might summon something that might destroy the house. (( I imagine the house is made of wood and bamboo...? ))

Seraph hears the man approaching from far away. She moved towards his footsteps, staff held up and ready.
((Wouldn't it all make more sense if everybody knew everybody else? I guess if we've all been living on the island, there's no need for introductions, right?))
((I guess... but it's pretty big, right? Anyway, let's say I knew Aria then, but some people are loners... maybe everyone's heard OF everyone else, but might noe know them?))
Ella tired with watching the waves at the beach stood and walked off towards the trees intending on finding someone to talk to. Sean sighed and dropped down from the tree he had been sitting in then froze. There was a disturbance near by, a plane coming to do it's routine fly by to make sure they weren't burning the island.
