I bet it's a person that Damon was friends with and will offer to make him a vampire again.

It is quite possible! :) although I did peak at the back and saw a different name being mentioned...but that is all I saw....nothing more. I intend to read from the beginning.

You can get it at any book store. You could also get online at Borders.com Or Target or anywhere else.

As much as I would like to sit and read the book all day I can't...so i'm just going to take it easy...chapter by chapter...every night or at least try too anyhow. LOL DESPITE my curiosity of the new character...:)

That's what I have to do. I have school so on the weekends allow me to read to my heart's desire...

I think the whole Princess look alike Bonnie is just a bad idea. I mean it was first Ellena now Bonnie. Is it me or is Damon starting to sound like a broken record. I never thought of him as a fairy tale kind of guy. The whole Princess of Darkness is getting to me.

I liked it when Damon was showing his feelings less. This last book kind had let me down at times although I'm still reading it

AND...some news to share with everyone...LJ Smith posted on her blog march 28 2011 that Midnight reached 5th place on the wall street journal best seller list (look for it under Hardcover Fiction btw...)

a reason why they should let her write the next trilogy! silly people for firing her, there's no way the new author will write the books like she did! they will probably make less money and lose fans probably. :(

Exactly...she made the series pretty good and not bland..:) There is always some kind of trouble the characters are getting into.

Me too but that's just because every girl likes a bad boy that's mysterious. Damon in this book is alittle more approachable but I think he will always have something for Ellena even though I think their relationship is all about lust.

Me either and it's already too lovey dovey for me either. I don't know why but I just don't like Ellena having these good momments with Stefan when everyone else is suffereing. Maybe it's because she always wins. Just doesn't seem fair or it could just be my bad side thinking this.

IKR! I was reading the part when the kitsunes came in and I had thought bubble saying: "What is going on and why is Meredith and Ellena hitting Stefan?"

I just heard that its the story about Elena and Stefan going to college and solve mysteries. Nothing else is announced as yet plus there's a change in the author, god knows how the story will go.

i totally agree with you! she is quite selfish in all this, and i hate the fact that she always gets what she wants. she wanted stefan, she got him. she wanted damon's love and she got that too :/ no matter how its hurting others. bit unfair to be kissing both brothers, she should pick one and stick with him.

In a way it is good that the show and book are VERY different.

I really don't know who she is going to pick. I thought Damon could possibly choose someone else but that will still leave a jealous Ellena and well...Damon is still selfish.

yeah! Or else the episodes will never end and we will have to watch all of those Delena and Selena moments. Guess that's why Damon is not as bad and Stefan isn't that good.

I finished the book and well. I was shocked to know that Damon died and Thank God he was revived.:)) and I cried a lot too knowing that the Guardians cannot revive Damon.. haha. :))

About the next series.. I hope the story will be good too because the one LJ wrote is really that good and I don't want the story be all messed up. :((

I agree and I do hope that the story wouldn't be that bad once the new author continue the series but it'll be best if LJ continued it which will not happen at all. :(

Ok so I'm really glad I'm not a total freak. I think I cried for at least 30 pages lol. I had been putting off reading the last 100 pages or so because I was afraid I was going to be disappointed no matter how it ended, but I wasn't.
