Quin was floating in the lake. Her spirit bound to it though her body had turned to muck many centuries ago.

She was just below the water, invisible to the normal person.

Fredrick walked over and glanced down at the lake.

Quin saw him and felt a pang in her stomach. He looked a little like her lost love. He'd moved on but she didn't, why?

Fredrick looked into the water, squinting. He sensed another spirit.

Quin rose to the surface. She looked at Fredrick. "You can see me?" She asked.

He grinned. "Yes ma'am!"

Tears came to her eyes. She hadn't been called ma'am since the day she died and it had been by her love.

((Wanna make Fredrick her lost love? Or have it be that she finds out she can love again?))

He frowned. "What is it?"

((Kk.))

"I haven't been called ma'am since the day I died... It was by my lost love as well..." She said sadly.

"Lost love?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Well see, I drowned and had to watch him die sad and alone and then he moved on... but I didn't." She said. The tears running down her face. "And look like him and just called me ma'am."

He frowned. "I look like me!" He reached out and wiped the tears.

"What do you mean you look like you?" She asked.

"This is me!" He pointed to himself.

Quin jumped out of the water and hugged him. She was so happy she'd finally found him.

((I thought he wasn't her lost love...))

He blinked, and stumbled. "Ermm...."

((Aaaahhh. Kk.))

"I found you!" She exclaimed. "You didn't move on! You're with me now!" She said happily, not realizing he was an entirely different person.

"Um...I'm sorry?" He tilted his head confused.

Quin looked at him. "John? Don't you remember me? Quin?" She asked, almost laughing indisbelief. "I'm you fiancée. You have to remember me."

"I'm Fredrick..." He took a step back. "Sorry..."

Quin shook her head indisbelief. "No." She said insanely. "NO!"

"Yeah..I commited suicide 54 years ago."

Quin fell back into the water and sunk down, just under the surface.

He frowned and slid in after her.

Quin saw him and started crying. "I'll never see him again." She sobbed.

He frowned and wrapped his arms around her. "Shh...It's alright."

Quin cried into his chest.

He held her close.

Quin stopped crying but didn't push away. For some reason she liked being in his arms.

Fredrick closed his eyes.

Quin closed her eyes and begun drifting off to 'sleep'.

Fredrick surfaced and watched her.

Quin smiled for the first time in centuries.

He grinned back.

She was surprised at how happy she was. She'd sworn she'd never like someone again but now...

He looked down at her.

Quin opened her eyes and looked up at him. "I'm sorry." She whispered.

"For?"

"Mistaking you for john and hugging you."

"Oh...well its ok."

Quin smiled and rested her head on his chest.

He looked down at her.

Quin smiled to herself.

He smiled down at her.

Quin held onto him tighter for some reason.

He moaned.
