Ooooh, I could so accomplish this one...but I've been telling myself no challenges/group reads in April. I'll have to seriously think about this.
0/6 Completed This is what I have for right now, as any other month I may change it, and I AM planning on cheating just a little this month, I REALLY need to read Outlander, but know it’ll take a good chunk of the month to read, so I’m going to count it as two books (that’s assuming I stick with it of course! LOL)Earthly Fools
1 – Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin
2 – Vampire Mine by Kerrelyn Sparks
3 – Red Riding Hood by Sarah Blakley-Cartwright and David Leslie Johnson
4 – To Tame a Highland Warrior by Karen Marie Moning
5 – Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (counting as 2 books, 800+ pages!)
6 – Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (counting as 2 books, 800+ pages!)

maybe I'm in on this one. I don't know yet. I'm not a big fan of romantic comed novels and can't stand chick lit. LOL So not sure I'll do this one or not since I don't llike to do them unless I think I can do all of the books.
We can do a maybe? Okay, I'm obviously thinking about this one b/c I just ordered some books off betterworldbooks.com♡Books that are on the more humorous side or are chick-lit:
1.

♡ Books that have “earth” tones on the cover (green, brown, yellow):
3. The Smoke Thief
4. Garden Spells
♡ Books of your choice:

Ok. One, I loved The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie. I really hope you like it. I'm not sure but I think the 3rd book in Highland Pleasures series will be out this summer, and I can't wait to get it. And two, I am psyched to see that you're also going to read The Smoke Thief! Were you able to finally get it from the library?
Nope. I caved. *sigh* All those were ordered off betterworldbooks.com This challenge is how I justified doing so. LOL!
Lisa Kay wrote: "Nope. I caved. *sigh* All those were ordered off betterworldbooks.com This challenge is how I justified doing so. LOL!"LOL! I have to check out betterworldbooks. I've only bought books from them through amazon's marketplace, but I hear they have all sorts of deals on their actual website.
Yes, Michelle. Two of the books I bought were from the bargain bin. They don't always have a used book of what you might want, but they'll have a new one.
Okay, I'm
still
a maybe, but I think I've found my chick-lit books. They are by Pamela Morsi; an author who used to write great small-town historical romances, but left the genre. So, I think I can get the first two from the library, not in download but paperback. Am I the only one who hates to pay library fines when they could be buying books? ♡Books that are on the more humorous side or are chick-lit:
1.Bitsy's Bait and BBQ
2.Red's Hot Honky-Tonk Bar
♡ Books that have “earth” tones on the cover (green, brown, yellow):
3. The Smoke Thief
4. Garden Spells
♡ Books of your choice:
5. The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie
6. The Serpent Prince
Lisa Kay wrote: "Okay, I'm still a maybe, but I think I've found my chick-lit books. In the past, I've been so bad with returning books or movies on time that I'm embarrassed when I finally pay the fine. I recently found a library book that I borrowed 18 yrs ago when I was cleaning out the closet..... shame on me.
0/6Getting closer to a commitment. Still dithering over my chick-lit choices; however, the last four books I’ve already purchased.
♡Books that are on the more humorous side or are chick-lit:
1.Bitsy's Bait and BBQ or Obsession, Deceit, and Really Dark Chocolate
2.Red's Hot Honky-Tonk Bar, by Pamela Morsi Or maybe something by Sherryl Woods.
♡ Books that have “earth” tones on the cover (green, brown, yellow):
3. The Smoke Thief
4. Garden Spells
♡ Books of your choice:
5. The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie
6. The Serpent Prince
Lisa Kay, I wish I were reading Lord Ian Mackenzie for the first time! I really enjoyed that one! Ok, I'm in. Hopefully, I won't bomb out this month! LOL
Hi Ladies, It's spring ... new beginings. I've been away for a while. But still reading. So I think I will join you'all with the April challenge. So I'm in too. List follows ...

Gigi! It is sooooo good! I do the same thing when I see someone reading one of my favorites. Envy washes over me, but also a sence of happiness for them. There is something about the discovery of a wonderful book; the warmth to your spirit that comes over you. Seeing the characters develop before your eyes, as the plot thickens, while the H/H fall in love…ahhhh. Satisfaction!

Michelle - how do you add books to the bookshelf and what does this mean?
Caro B., I'll answer, if you like.Look on this screen, the upper right hand corner, near our group logo.
You'll see the list: group home, bookshelf, discussion, etc.
Click on bookshelf, hyperlinking you to the next screen.
When you get to the next page, look to the left where you can add a book in the enter field. Don't worry about adding one that is already entered. You will be able to tell on the next pages.
This adds books to the group's bookshelf, not your personal ones.

How did you like Slave to Sensation?
Michelle, I absolutely loved it! I've been hearing about it for a while, know I'm a bit late to jump on the bandwagon, but I sometimes find fantasy romance hard to get into. Not so with this book, it just sucked me right in!
