The YA Bloggers Book Battle discussion

Hi guys! I'm Kristen and I'll be moderating the group during this years YA Blogger Book Battle. I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys as you learn what you are doing/judging for this great book battle.

A little about me - I'm an Elementary School Librarian and YA Book Blogger (Bookworming in the 21st Century). I am happily married and my biggest news lately is I'm going to be starting my Masters of Library Science this coming fall, which I'm looking forward to. Good to see some action over here at last! I'm super happy to have Kristen taking over moderation duties this year, and hopefully this group will be a lot more active than it was last year.

For those who don't know me, I'm Alyssa from The Shady Glade, the blog that's hosting the battle. In addition to being crazy about books, I also love movies, musicals (or movie musicals) and just about anything Disney.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you a little more. And everyone feel free to invite your friends to this group as well.

It's so exciting to see this up and started for the year! I had so much fun with it last year, and I'm looking forward to seeing all the reviews and comments. We have such an interesting category this year!

Hi, I am Melissa from Mel's Books and Info. During the day I am a teen librarian at a public library in Indiana. When I am off I am a wife and mother to a wonderful 3 year old little boy, and a YA book blogger. This year I will be a Round 2 judge. I can't wait to see what books will make the top 16!
