I am looking forward to reading with you all and want to get our May nomination thread up and running!

I know we are just getting started but here are some basic rules to go by!

Rules
1. Nominations are open from the 1st until the 14th of the month. I(Abbie) will let us know which book has "won" on the 15th.
2. Books are chosen using Random.org to make it completely fair.
3. One nomination per person.
4. As of now we have not set up any rules for how we pick the book. My only thought for now and we can address this in another thread which I will set up here soon is lets not nominate the same author. We can set a time frame on how long to wait. So no Laurie Alice Eakes for the month of May.
5. It must be a Christian Romance Novel. It can be a mystery etc but the underlying story needs to be Christian romance.

1. Love Finds You in Charm, Ohio by Annalisa Daughety(Lorie)
2. Head in the Clouds by Karen Witemeyer(Crystal)
3. A Cowboy's Touch by Denise Hunter(Rachel)
4. Happily Ever After by Susan May Warren(Abbie)
5. Save the Date by Jenny B. Jones(Carissa)
6. A Wedding Quilt for Ella by Jerry S. Eicher(Tina)
7. Mine Is the Night: A Novel by Liz Curtis Higgs(Myra Beth)
8. Yesterday's Tomorrow by Catherine West(Renee)
9. Moon Dance by Susan K. Earl(Mary)
10. Abigail's New Hope by Mary Ellis(Ausjenny)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Pssst, Abbie, the author of April's book is Laurie Alice Eakes, not M. L. Tyndall. Think you may have got mixed up with the other book group! :)

Yep, I saw that you had marked that as to read and went and read up on it and thought that would be a great book. Glad you marked it, or I would not have known about it. That is one reason I love Goodreads. :0)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) I'd like to nominate A Cowboy's Touch by Denise Hunter.

Yesterday's Tomorrow by Catherine West. It's very good and if you like edgier Christian fiction this is for you. I'm new to the group so I hope I'm doing this right!

message 18: by Rachel (new)

Rachel Brand (pixieauthoress) Myra Beth wrote: "I nominate Mine Is the Night: A Novel by Liz Curtis Higgs."

Just wanted to point out that this is a sequel. It can probably be read on its own, but it might be a little bit confusing without the full backstory. I loved both of the books in this series :)

message 19: by Mary (new)

Mary (marigold10) | 3 comments I just joined the group, but wanted to add my pick for May. Recently a friend shared her copy of Moon Dance with me, and I discovered a new favorite in author Susan K. Earl. The book had all the elements I enjoy, and the characters are endearing. It was such an easy read that I just couldn't put down. I now proudly own my on copy!

I definitely say go with Here Burns My Candle first, I've read them both and definitely think they both need to be read to get the full effect.
