Somehow a chunk of Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut got separated out as http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/49... by Harold Bloom. The problem is that most of the reads/reviews seem just to be about the book (including mine). I know that personally, I selected just the book, but must have been (along with potentially 1500 others) on an edition that later got separated out as written by Bloom. This clearly deserves a Vonnegut writing credit. The cover says "Edited and with an introduction by Harold Bloom." I'd just fix it, but the change log is long and made me nervous I don't know something.

Can someone who knows more than me take a look at it? To me, it should be merged back into Cat's Cradle — it's just an edition that happens to have an introduction (and happens to have erroneous Amazon data listing Bloom as the author). Help?

The thing is, as far as I can tell, that is NOT the book. WorldCat confirms. It certainly appears to be solely a collection of essays on the book.

I've added the World Cat data to the book descriptions of both volumes of this work and added a Librarian Note that they should not be combined with Cat's Cradle, as they are a collection of essays about that work.

Unfortunately, over 1,500 ratings/reviews have been erroneously attached to the essay collection when, as Christina points out, they should properly be attached to Vonnegut's actual work. I've no idea how you sort that mess out!

Thanks, Rivka & Michael. I changed my own book to the correct one, but now I am irrationally bothered by the inaccuracy on those 1500 people's bookshelves. Oh well. So it goes. :)
