The official topic to ramble about siblings. They're very complex creatures... Very complex indeed....

Ramble away!

Sierra Bookworm☺️♪ my little brother is a 11-year-old creature i will refer to as 'Birdturd'. at the moment, Birdturd is poking me with his fake lightsaber. very complex indeed, my friend...

My seven year old sister thinks I'm the weirdest, nerdiest, most annoying thing in the world.... Which is probably true, haha. She can get annoying sometimes... Especially when with people I like. She always tries to be best buds with cousins closer to my age (that are nerdy nerds like me, and she isn't nerdy because she is SEVEN!), not to mention close to my friend who is MY FRIEND and therefore closer to MY AGE and therefore BACK OFF!!!!!

Seriously. :-/ She even says she likes him more than she likes me. And when we were at a theme park she always tried to sit in between him and I. She said it was so we'd stop screaming at each other...
....it's a long story, but we were having a great time! Before she tried to shut us up. Eventually my mom took her away, but still, ANNOYING.

And then when I was talking to my favorite author (very long story) she all-the-suddenly piped up:

"She talks about you ALL THE TIME. The entire car ride."
"What did she say?"

I just about died. She could have said something really terrible... Luckily she said:

"Uhhhh I don't remember."

Biggest relief moment of my life... *phew!*

That's a very complicated sister!!

Well I have 2 younger brothers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And... I know this sounds rather *gulps* bad... but they're not too annoying! I mean whenever a friend comes over I can't have 2 mintues to talk to her but I guess they just wanted to talk... I eventually had to call Mum

They are annoying and very complex... I agree!!

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments I have a 16 year old sister and a fraternal (non-identical) twin sister. You have NO idea how frustrating it is being a twin. First of all, people spend a lot of time trying to find similar things about you like "you have the same teeth!" or "Oh, I thought you were Holly!". It's quite annoying! And also, you fight about EVERYTHING! Even things that don't make sense! Although, I do have to admit, I have fun with Holly sometimes, if she isn't in a bad mood that is. Anna (16 year old) mostly is ok, except when you annoy her, then she's like the dragon lady! Nawwww, but I wuv my sisters!

Interesting to hear-- I used to always want a twin. Just someone so incredibly close to you... But now I'm such a nonconformist I don't think I'd enjoy having someone quite so similar to me, that's what other nerds are for! XD

message 7: by Gabby (new)

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments What's funny is that, twins are usually very different in personality. I'm kind of shy and reserved where as Holly is really out there and random!

message 8: by Becky, AwesomeOne (new)

Becky (MissFooFoo) | 4249 comments Mod
Yeah... thats true
everybody says that twins are so silmilar in personality but actually they're not

I think I'm a mixture of you two: shy and nervous around people I don't know, annoyingly outgoing and nerdy with those I do. ;)

message 10: by Becky, AwesomeOne (new)

Becky (MissFooFoo) | 4249 comments Mod
Yeah... I'm sort of shy around other people but fun and outgoing around friends and family

message 11: by Gabby (new)

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments Same, I only really feel comfortable acting wierd around people who I know well

Haha... I don't talk to boys very often because I go to an all girls school so the only boys I talk to are my brothers.

Do you have socials? We had one last year and it wasn't really a social but our brother school, CHurchie... we had to do BUSH DANCING with them!!!! Like heel and toe sort of stuff... honestly

I talk to boys a lot, although I don't really consider them boys.

That sounded weird.

Let me clarify, I'm not into dating or anything like that. Not even flirting. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo........ So the boys are like, girls. But they're not, because they're boys.... AUGH! I hate how people think only girls can be friends with girls...

But sone of my really good friends are boys. Two of them. And then there's my cousin, who I'm really close to...

And boys thirty years older than me don't count, do they? ;-)

What's really annoying is how one of the boys who is also my friend's mom teases us and says we'll get married... Awkward. Same thing with my mom, but thankfully not when he's present. Double awkward.

Haha... thats funny... well we have a dance this year with churchie!! :(

I went to a co - ed school in england and some of my friends were boys... i hate when that happens because everyone thinks that you like them and your dating or something like that.... why can't girls have friends been boys??

My mum used to say that to me as well!!

message 17: by Sarah, The Random Nerd (new)

Sarah (agentsd) | 11810 comments Mod
Because society is twisted. D':

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments Sono was great! We got a private dining room! You know how in traditional japanese meals you sit cross legged on a cushion with a low table? Well, because some people can't do that, the have a lowerd section of floor which the table sits in and you sit on the edge of the hole on a cushion with your feet below. There were sliding paper doors on opposite sides of the room and one side led to the main restaurant and the other opened onto a whole wall window with a little stone garden in front of it. It was wierd because we started with both doors open, then when we finished our entrees they closed the one to the main restaurant while we ate our mains (they knocked before coming in!) and closed the zen gardeny one as well while we were eating our desserts! And as we were leaving EVERY staff member thanked us! I love the Japanese!

message 37: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Bookworm☺️♪ ive never tried Japanese; i usually eat Chinese yumm ;).

I've always wanted to learn Japanese! I'd probably be more into learning the calligraphy though, it's very beautiful.

message 40: by Gabby (new)

Gabby (Gabby123) | 853 comments We went to a buhdist temple at my old school and we got to try caligraphy! We also went on a tour, rung a big bell for luck and meditated. It was cool! I bought a little japanese luck charm. It was shaped like a pig!

My sister was such a PITA (my moms term for pain in the... yeah, you get the idea) today. Seriously, she loves to irritate me so she touched every flipping object in my room, even when I asked her politely to stop 100 times, she just doesn't listen. Then she attacked me and almost rammed my head straight through the wall, the only way I could stop her from possibly injuring my head was to hold back her arm. Unfortunately, my sister is a crybaby and the pressure (it wasn't that much, but she's a drama queen) was enough to send her running downstairs to tattle on me even though SHE was he one that almost murdered me in the first place. Not to mention being a huge PITA before that. But of course, my parents believed everything she said and didn't bother listening to my side of the story, because she's the baby of the family. It's so annoying to have a sister, especially when everyone sides with her. Would it kill them to listen to what I had to say before jumping to conclusions?

Becky (MissFooFoo) | 4249 comments Mod
I know what you mean... one of my brothers tried to kick me so I moved out the way and he fell over and then he went and told my parents that I had pushed him over and I got the blame!!

message 49: by Sierra (new)

Sierra Bookworm☺️♪ my parents always believe my side of the story, because its true, Birdturd is the king of drama, and they just trust me more =). they dont care whos the baby of the familee =).

message 50: by Becky, AwesomeOne (new)

Becky (MissFooFoo) | 4249 comments Mod
I wish that was the same with me... I mean my parents do believe me on most occasions but when they don't it really annoyes me!
