Don't be afraid it's just for fun!! And it's like a challenge: Your first step to being a published author!

message 6: by [deleted user] (new)

Ok. I NERVOUS about writing because people might not like my stories. I'm not afraid. :)

I really don't know any of the books!! I should read some of them!

message 13: by Rea (new)

Rea A lot of them aren't very well known.

Devil's Cub is in written in the same style as Pride and Prejudice, old Regency romance. Very different plot though. I found it very romantic. :)

It depends a bit on what you like. Morpurgo writes relatively simple stories for children or young teens, whereas Micklem writes a very complicated story where the protagonist is basically a whore - but her prose is absolutely wonderful.

message 19: by Rea (new)

Rea India Black is narrated by a lady in Victorian London who used to be a whore and is now the madam of a brothel. It was quite good fun, but it's written with a sort of dry, sarcastic humour. Stories about whore's adventures can be quite fun! :p

Peter Medley | 2 comments The Perfect Deceit

An intriguing and fascinating book on how countries vie against each other to be top dog on the world stage. Spies, double agents, love triangles -- it’s all in a day’s work for super spy Alexey! In today’s interconnected world, this book gives an interesting perspective on how much competition goes on behind the scenes with ambitions and stakes running high. Hearts are broken and for some power is gained.

Illuminating book on the espionage sphere. Lots of mind games involved. Great book with high drama which makes for a perfect summer read!
